The first one was good but I wasnt really into the whole style of the game i prefer more sci-fi or battlefield type FPS. Ill wait till this one gets cheap.
What I understood from the review... you know... the words, not the number, was that the game is improved from the 1st in pretty much every way.... however since we've been to Rapture already, the trip doesn't seem as fresh/new.
Anyway... I can't wait to play through this sucka... I just finished ME2, so I'm ready for it.... is Steam going to allow us to pre-load it? Anyone know?
It only got a lower score because: 1. Graphics aren't as mind blowing as they were in 2007 2. Rapture not as mysterious and new They even said the storytelling is more focused and superior in this one.

I know, it's a freaking 9.1 people! Obviously it won't score as well as the first one, not as fresh, but a 9.1 is an awesome score. Haven't you heard, anything below a 9.5 is a flop. Oh, and if it doesn't sell 4 million + in it's first week its a commercial flop too :P
Why are the visuals lowered from the first game?? Not that it's a huge deal, just curious.
They're not lowered, probably actually a little more polished than the first one. They're just not a huge leap. The art style for the game is awesomesauce, IMO.
Awesome! I hope that the PS3 doesn't stink because I think I'm going to get it for that. IGN didn't mention ant stark differences so I assume all versions look/run great.

The reviewer said that the graphics is'nt as impressive as they were back in 2007. He means that games in 2009 and 2010 have much better graphics compared to 2007 so that engine isn't as impressive.

Looks good, I cant afford a full price game this month unfortunatly (wife birthday + valentines = poor) but I wouldn't have time anyway with Mass Effect 8) Ill be picking this one up when its cheaper.
