Exactly! Finally, someone that agrees with me. To those people that say there are too many zombie games, show me where... because I'm a huge zombie fan and I "dying" for a good zombie game. And please do not list those crappy top-down arcade shooters like Nation Red and Trapped Dead because those are pretty much garbage (I've played them). Other than the L4D series and Red Dead Redemption (Zombie DLC), which I don't even consider a full-blown, fully focused zombie game.. there isn't anything on the market.

Dead Rising 2.... not my kind of game. It's TOO campy.

And Resident Evil 5? I'm not going to go in the real zombie vs fake zombie debate. They're zombies, just not the ones I am inclined to expect. And that game pretty much sucked, at least for me.

So I'm just going to ignore almost everything on that list except RE5, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Island. How could you even count Plants vs Zombies? You should know by now what kind of zombie game we want and expect. Just because it has something zombie in it doesn't necessarily make it that marquee zombie game.

Bottom line, most of them suck. Either some top-down shooter or multiplayer only zombie co-op game like Killing Floor. I'm referring to something like Dead Island, open-world or sandbox style zombie game that takes itself a little more seriously. Non-campy nature, that focuses on survival, with a good story. There just isn't a zombie game like that out now and I don't expect anyone to make one in the near future.

If 9GN gave it an eight with all the marketing and hypre behind it, it must suck something awful.

Undead Labs is making a 360 exclusive zombie MMO, IIRC there isn't a title to it yet but I'm guessing that's what you're thinking of. I'm surprised you just discovered this was coming to the PS3 since there was a recent thread where several people told you it was :P

24 more hours and I'll be playing with 3 other people in co-op. I don't need a review to tell me this game is gonna be alot of fun.

Seems like nobody even knew the game was coming out on ps3, so it sounds like a win. It's also nice that you get the whole game, and don't have to pay extra for co-op.
