I agree with that article. I pretty much feel the same way as he does. And it's the reason why I still don't have, nor care about buying a Wii.

And IGN proves just how much of a trahy piece of crap reviewer it is . . . . . AGAIN. Complete with immature and ridiculous editors and editorials that haven't a **** what they are talking about. Can't wait for people to eat it up.

Well, if the guy wants to go out of his way to avoid great games, that's his choice I guess.

This is like buying two games for your 360 then complaining that nothing of value has been made in over two years simply because you haven't tried or bought any other 360 games in over two years.

No, I never used the wordignorant. I really don't give a damn about that. IGNorance is not a website I care for. I also never make the assumption they have to love a system. Let's not play all innocent, its bothersome. As for valid points, naw, it just reads like everyday SW garbage. There is no critical analysis anywhere in there. there doesn't have to be since its a blog but at the same time don't try to tell me that I can't chew up an uninformed or ridiculous opinion just because I don't share. I find that hilarious.

I feel that way about all the consoles, The wii being too casual, the ps3 possibly having the biggest flop i've ever seen, MS with it's crazy RRoD, and all the piracy on the PC, it's a sad day for me, but I try to have fun ;)

I'm at a loss for words, not really. How did Little King's Story 'not deliver'? No mention of Muramasa or the upcoming DS: E, no mention of the NMH sequel. Professional he is not. Pro fanboy for sure.

As I was reading that, I repeatedly felt the need to hit my head against a wall. The really funny thing is the "Sony and Microsoft know their core audience will be there in five years" part. It's not like the Wii and DS were made because Nintendo believes that the Core market is dying. As for the Wii being anti-whatever, the correct word would be anti-industry. It has thoroughly steered itself away from the direction the rest of the industry is following.

As for people not buying third-party games on Wii, they do buy those. Just not in the ridiculous numbers that Nintendo's system sellers achieve. Conduit and MadWorld are flawed games anyway, the former suffering from lack of local multiplayer and general blandness, the latter just being overtly violent for overt violence's sake - something that just doesn't appeal to most people.

Even then, actual effort, a bit of advertising and not thinking that your customers are idiots could help those third-party titles sell better.

Furious? I doubt any non-nintendo fan actually manages to conjur up feelings of anger. We honestly see it as a waste of time for casuals. It's just silly and unappealing. I don't see how anyone can take it seriously.

Its just hilarious that these people are the guys so many people put there faith in for reviews. I might as well hand in my gamer badge now because this type of garbage is not worth my time. If I have to have this thought process to be respected in the industry or a "hardcore gamer" I basically have lost any hope I have for the industry and would rather just be a casual.

Nintendo is doing what they've always done. Targeting to the younger or family centered part of the spectrum. Some people seem to forget that.
