Quest for Booty picks up sometime after Clank's disappearance in Tools of Destruction and leads directly into the next game (currently scheduled for autumn 2009) that is conveniently announced at the end of the credits when you conquer the final boss. Insomniac's initial PSN-exclusive foray is also interesting in that it's the first Ratchet game I've played that left me feeling a little less than impressed when it was all over.

All I can say, is it must be hard to score a $15 dollar DL.

It may be that the game was judged on $60 standards, or it may be very accurate. Who knows.

Not too mention PSOne Downloads like Castlevania :SOTN, Street Fighter Alpha, Crash, and RType are great (Plus can be played on PSP's!)

i agree it bs that we dont have those games, but i still prefer the psn downloadable games to 360's. i love Pixel Junk eden and monsters. And flower and fat princess look amazing. But as for R and C screw ign this game will be really good and it looks better then all of the games on 360's XBLA.

Wow. The Japanese get even more PSOne games...that blows. What the hell is Sony waiting on, I always assumed it was the 3rd parties taking their sweet time.

Yeah but a hand full of folks don't really count HD remix of old games or whatever like that. They mostly focus on orginal downloadable games.

R&C is NOT Mediocre, there are games out there that actually are, and you may not like the series, but you may need to play REAL Mediocre games to find that out.

Start with E.T. on Atari 26000, then Superman 64, and then you may have an opinion that's more forgiving.

PSN is better than the Marketplace purely because of the lack of a size cap. PSN is able to get full size games and other games like Qeust for Booty that MS won't allow in the Marketplace. whackedjob213

Honestly, Ratchet and Clanks last 3 (1 PS2 2 PS3) console games and ALL the PSP ones have really disappointed me . The first 3 were easily some of my favorite games on the PS2.

it only flopped on this site..because of *cough* aaron thomas *cough* ....game trailers, ign, and 1up gave it an AAA......hell it even scored a 89 on metacritic.....which is pretty damn good.

Pixel Junk Monsters is out, I've played it. It's a good game. Have you played Pixel Junk Monsters, or are you a typical Wii60 guy?

I wish Ratchet and Clank would go away. It was great at one time, but it's just way past its golden years and the series is getting stale.

As for PSN downloadable games, I think they do need to step it up. I want something like Braid on PSN.

They have some good stuff on here, but it could definitely be better.

You should download Rayman too. The game has aged beautifully.

Avoid Twisted Metal 2 though. That game has aged very badly. It's awful now.

Personally I am amazed that braid got a 9.5. GS overrated that game too much. But they seem to do that a lot giving GTA4 a 10.

R&C is a proper game competing with other proper games, braid is DL, thats why we have the score difference. If I had to choose between the 2, I would get R&C (partly becuae I am a fan of the series though :P)

I think insomniac should be happy with the score.

I could care less about someone's opinion, I cannot wait until Thursday! :D

they do need to change someting. Im a fan of the series, but TOD and secret agen clank were far from amazing.

I really liked tools of destruction but I feel the series should just end they dont need to make anymore games, make a new diff platform game or something, Resistance fall of man 2 is looking great though
