Poor review. Didn't describe the combat well at all. Didn't even mention the melee attacks and makes the combat sound like it's repetitive and dull, which is as far from the truth as you can come.

Also makes the score seem kind of odd. "The game consists mostly of shooting, the shooting is tedious and repetitive, story and cutscenes are nice. 9.1" And where's this texture pop-in he speaks of? I didn't notice any in the demo, did they add those to the final build?

What can u expect, naughty dog always seems to deliver great games just like insomniac. I already knew it will be an AAA title. Even if it were to get an 8 here, im still buying the game because after all those lousy reviews we seen for assassins creed, im starting to think gamespot has more brains then these other sites who give assassins creed a 7? Wtf man I know the game cant be that fu**in bad. Im still buying assassins creed and I think gamespot rated it just right.

And for those saying the ps3 doesnt have an exclusive AAA title, hey thats all good but it still has 5 AAA titles in its first year, giving it one more AAA then the xbox 360 had in its first year and we still have one more review with uncharted, so if it gets an AAA here in gamespot which I think it should, then that will be 6 AAA titles for the ps3 in its first year. I own both a ps3 and xbox 360 and enjoy games on both consoles but u have to give the ps3 credit aswell for its first year. :)

It's so cute how these cows are bashing GS, to bad they don't realize there defending the PS3, a craptastical piece of garbage. If you all lost so much credibility in GS, why don't you leave? Maybe then it would actually be worth posting here. Oh and one last thing, why don't you guys start using GR to be your source for your "good reviews" oh wait you couldn't do that. Everything he listed as replay value, holds no value in my eyes, but then again I haven't played it so I have no idea if I liked or disliked the game enough to play through again. Not to be condecending, but I'm sure it'll get an 8.5 here.lantus

This game looks like Tomb Raider - only the main character is not a hot chick.

Based on my playing of the demo this morning, I would say it is the best game I've played on PS3.

I love being able to explore and look around. I like the characters and the story so far from the demo. The graphics look fantastic.

Some of you guys are jaded after the Rachet and Clank review. Don't be. The reviewer gave his opinion. Ok, his opinion did not reflect what the majority of other reviewers and gamers thought of the game but that's just how it is. Maybe the reviewers will enjoy Uncharted more.

Have some faith in Gamespot. The fact is that Uncharted truly is a fanstic game and deserves at least a 9.0

My personal rating based on games I've played this year and seen etc would be to give it a solid 9.5 score. Uncharted will be a day one purchase for me. I'm a huge fan of adventure movies like Indiana Jones.
