IGN Grudge Match: Reistance 2 VS Gears of War 2

Eeeeenteresting, Resistance 2 wins. I don't the game yet, only Gears 2. Not a huge fan of the MP aside from Horde. The SP is great but hasn't really hooked me for some reason. Floppy_Jim

Did you miss the bit about R2 single player being boring and G2 SP being great?

I actually had way more fun playing the Gears 2 single player and also the Gears 2 multiplayer is much better in my opinion Resistance 2 can't touch Horde Mode or Wing man.

I just stated my opinion and I couldn't care less what IGN, of all places thinks. If I cared about that, I'd be posting on IGN.;)

And I have NEVER, EVER said the PS3 fails in every way. But since I have very high expectations for the PS3 I will not accept something mediocre and praise it like it's good. I won't do that for any system.

Also, I have said many times that the PS3 has superior hardware and I love it as a Blu-ray player since I'm a move buff. As a console, it still hasn't done a good job of distinguishing itself from the 360..

I've also said MGS 4 has quite possibly the best presentation out of any videogame I've ever seen and I enjoyed it quite a bit, even placing the PRESENTATION, not the graphics, above even Crysis.

Don't try to paint me as biased because I'm not. It's just that the PS3 has disappointed me quite a bit. But even then, I have no problem supporting the system.

I own a PS3 with a 320 gig HD, a 360 Elite, and 3 PCs. I just call things as I see them. You might not agree with me, but that's your problem. ;)

As for R2, I just thought it was boring and there was really nothing that pulled me into the game. I thought Nathan Hale moved too slow and while the weapons were cool, the actual combat left me cold. I like Gears 2 better and that's my opinion.

man, resistance 2 really stepped it up this year.. i personally think that the original game was underated, but those guys didnt leave the sequel to chance.. they really shut-up alot of the doubters..

all those lemmings who where shouting that "Gears 2 will pwn Resistance 2" and stuff like "Resistance 2 isnt even on Gears 2's level", how do you put your fanboy spin on the facts that both games scored equally here on GS and also that Resistance 2 won an IGN head-to-head grudge match between the two?.. maybe the haters will have more respect for the franchise when talks of Resistance 3 and Gears of War 3 begin to surface...

 Ok ok i believe u :P anyways why the heck to you have 3PCs? i have 2(my old one and my current one) but why would you have 3?
