IGN mad cause MAG is not MW2

And many things mentioned are just idiotic and anyone that has played the game for more than an hour knows this.

Some of the editors wrote that is frustrating when he dies since if he kills someone their teamates will attack him and destroy him. No **** that is the point of this game teamwork. You can't go rambo and expect to survive. If you do go commando you have to realize that your only usefulness to the team is to divert attension not nessesarly to get kills. For commando gameplay you have to hide. Place booby traps. Shoot with silensed guns and retreat when they notice you and hopefully not get killed.

Another one wrote this game i is perfect for those that like team killing I was killing my team members like crazy and no one voted me out. This will probably piss people off. What can I say, why would you do that? Is this a reviewer or a 5 year old kid. Seriously why would anyone start killing their own teamates and then complain about team killing? Its not modern warfare we get it. And I'm glad its not cause Modern Warfare is too nob friendly. I want a game that does not hold my hand.

And the last one was pretty hillarious and anyone that has played the game knows this.

The guy wrote. My concern is that this game is going to be full of campers. Sniper in this game are almost useless unless you use them as scouts so we wont have sniper campers. Firing gives out your position even if you have a silenser because of the tracer rounds. Even if you kill some the teamates will know your position and destroy you with numbers. Its hard to camp since people that camp have no one near to revive them. If you find a good position to kill peopel with it only works for about 2 kills then you need to find another one so you wont get knifed in the back.

And the most common complaint is that it does not feel like MW2.

Well if you like noob friendly games where one player can run and gun everyone then by all means play MW2 if you want a game that requires team work and communication as well as tactics and strategy to survive then MAG is your game.

The part that made me laugh was the complant about campers and how it seems MW2 doesint suffer from this problem which is straight up bs. I have nothing against MW2.

Anywho those wondering what fixes MAG team made after the recent beta here is the list

Gameplay
· Added ability for player to use knife during a reload animation.
· Applied significant tuning adjustments for all weapons and armor.
· Increased sprint duration before tiring by 30%.
· Lowered XP requirements for levels 2 thru 4.
· Lowered level-entry restrictions for Sabotage from Level 3 to Level 2.
· Lowered level-entry restrictions for Acquisition from Level 5 to Level 4.
· Lowered level-entry restrictions for Domination from Level 10 to Level 8.
· Enabled proper level requirements for unlocking headgear, facegear, and uniforms.
· Fixed problem with recoil/firing animation that kept playing for a few seconds after the player fires an automatic gun and uses knife swipe simultaneously.

Interface
· Fixed bug where incapacitated players' nametags would occasionally disappear.
· Repositioned onscreen weapons for improved field of view.
· Armory items (facegear/ headgear/ uniforms) reordered.
· Removed helmets from "Loadout 3" for all factions.

Graphics
· Made significant increase in framerate during player-heavy games.
· Changed light settings for all environments.
· Polished recoil effect for better realism.
· Fixed offset muzzle flash effect.
· Tuned camera to shake more realistically when hit by bullets.
· Adjusted "blur" effect for both normal sights and iron sights.
· Added alternate reload animation.
· New "light scatter" treatment for all skies.
· Repaired various "weapon clipping" issues.
· Enacted several particle fogging adjustments.

Audio
· Switched first-person weapon sounds to true stereo.
· Moved first-person character interactions and weapon switches to true stereo.
· Tweaked sounds effects relating to landing on surfaces.

Technical
· Added error display and queue panel updates to notify player when they've encountered a "join game" failure.
· Made various server stability fixes and tweaks.

Probably cause when they reviewed it there wasn't as many people camping in the game.

From what I remember not that many people were camping the first 2 weeks the game was released. People were trying to learn the maps and so on. Now game has turned to a huge campfest.

The game looks like alot of fun to me. Who cares if its not like COD? Series is overrated these days anyways imo.

ya cant really trust ign. I personally think the reviews from ppl like 1up are much better despite not being as large as GS and IGN

MAG requires team work. (turn the mic on and come up with ideas with your team for winning). There will be games where you dont get any kills cus you instead are needed to run around the battlefield as a medic or scoop out the area for team member. Xp is givinprimarily for completed objectives not kills.

So team killing is allowed (forgive my lack of knowledge on this game...I'm not the one bit interested in MAG :P), camping is a majority of the gameplay, and going all-out is a sure way to get your ass handed back to you...sonds like a "every man for himself" kind of game, IMO. Sort of like a "hardcore" Call of Duty. Which does sound pretty cool: piss off your teammates, and they'll get back at you :D. DethSkematik

yet somehow this is how IGN thinks MAG should be.. somehow people can run-and-gun, not communicate, not stratigize, and rambo in MW2 to their hearts content and noone cares.. but if anybody remotely does these very same things in MAG, somehow the entire game fails and "i miss MW2".. amazing.. game..

well, you probably missed out on tons of fraggo points since u apparently ignored the objectives.. you could have doubled and/or tripled your xp otherwise.. and yea i know, "i still made MVP and did better than everybody else" right?.. well, you still couldve doubled or tripled your points beyond what you did acheive with the additional fraggo points.. fact..

really thats funny because I just finished playing killzone about 20 minutes ago, and there was plenty of players online...i dont understand all this "no one plays killzone 2 anymore BS" because it just isnt true

OK but what where you expecting that this game did not fulfill? Do not even talk about the 256 battles cause you can't play them till level 10.
