What is so bizarre to me is that the Creative Assembly wasn't even in the top 50.

Nintendo would not even crack my top 10 at this point.

Not surprising at all. What we should be talking about is how in the hell is Capcom #2? They have some great franchises sure, but they've been actively working to destroy all of them over the past decade.Fossil-

I completely agree with this choice. No other company has contributed as much as they have. The thing about Nintendo is that no other company has been making systems AND making games for them for nearly 30 years.

Most people always ignore their handheld titles. That is why people don't think Nintendo made many new IPs that is because 90+% is on their handhelds and about 10% is on their consoles.

Nintendo on #1 is the only thing I agree with that crappy list of IGN. They should stop making lists, we all know they get bribed anyway

I disagreed with everything else.

Before they announced that EAD was number 1 the only thing I can think of that was good was atleast Looking Glass Studios is in the top 15.

That was actually a pretty legit list, as much as I dislike Nintendo now its not because they dont make great games. Nintendo is easily the best develper of all time when it comes to overall games. I just wish they would let someone else make the hardware .

As much as everyone hates it, I've yet to hear a legitimate reason as to why they don't deserve to be there. Everything I've read so far is just your generic fanboy dribble the second comment on the IGN page can clarify.

You gotta keep in mind Sony isnt primarly a game compnay they are a tech company. What makes sony so great is a combination of great studios. They have several in the top 50 and whats what makes Sony so good overall. But as a single developer I think there top 10 was pretty accurate. For example I personally hate the Sim games and in my personal devs they wouldnt even be in the top 100 but when you look at the impact they had on the industry you would no doubt have to put them there.

This is not about our personal taste, it's to collectively crown one developer as objective as possible considering things like innovation (wm+, gravity, wii sports), scores, goty awards/nominations, popularity.

I don't mind at all what you think of Nintendo personally.

Like everyone says: All time Nintendo, but this gen is debatable. However it's not a case of "LOL NO WAYZ", EAD is definitely up there.

Blizzard has been very strong this gen with WoW+Expansions, SCII, DIII.

But... uhm.. yeah that's all they did. Plus consider DIII debacle and the fact that they dared to release 1/3 of the SP in SCII, the reason why I still didn't get SCII, I will wait for the full package.

WoW has also had its ups and downs, although I have no trouble calling it one of the most important games of the gen, it's gen defining alongside Wii Sports.

That is nowhere near Nintendo EAD's total output.
