I watched it earlier and they really didn't say who came out on top, it was more like a comparison. The guy that was defending Killzone 2 did admit that Halo 3 had better controls though. Interesting grudge match but I think it was a waste if they didn't say who won or anything like that.

I have both and enjoyed halo's online better. I enjoyed the campign's about the same, but killzone is better graphically.

Iv seen this before. Its interesting and there is no winner in the video. Its just why one person belives X is better then Y. THey are going to keep comaparing genres in a vid like this. AS of now it was PS3 vs 360 in the FPS department.

Killzone 2 is totally linear, boring and repeatitve, extremely mediocre

But Halo 3 is one of the most fun shooters i have ever played, huge in scope, Ai, vehicles, and above all fun gameplay

And that comes from someone that usually hates shooters, especially when they are the Gears 2, KZ2 kind

At least Gears 2 had the amazing setting/monsters/art, unlike Killzone 2 that had ... nothing, only some random similar human enemies, and random similar places that got old from the first 10 minutes, i mean what is with the metal planks and walls everywhere ?

The hellgasts seem have little imagination when it comes to their buildings

I think you're being unfair to the PS3 because when you compare Halo 3 (360) vs Killzone 2 (PS3) it's like you're expecting inferior tech to be as good as superior tech; it's like beating on the Wii for not producing HD. Let's face it the PS3 will never have huge open-world games with x4AA like Halo 3, Fable 2 and Lost Odyssey cause it simply doesn't have the GFX nor the memory to handle it so PS3 owners will have to continue to play tiny square level games like Killzone 2. I feel bad for them. =(

Is it the second coming helllllllllllllllllllllll....llll no,but is it a fun game hell yes. Same with halo 3. To be honest I dont likethe halo universe at all. I played the first one and feel asleep,but I will say that halo 3 has a good enough MP that I bought it just for that. Its very arcady and fun. KZ2 also has a deep MP with classes and the mixing of classes and stuff to unlock in MP. I like the feel,look and worldof KZ2 more then Halo 3 thefore I like it more,but I wont downsize halo 3 cause if its MP is good enough that I would buy it just for that it deserves some cred from me. Thats my view.

Well no matter what Halo 3 scored better and KZ2 will not even come close to Halo 3 sales. Lets see KZ2 pass 1 billion online games like Halo 3 has. Halo is so much better then KZ2 is so many ways. Halo has a better story- A story for Halo that was able to inspire novels and comic books even. If KZ2 had a bad story it would be a improvement since there was no story. I played through the entire KZ2 game and never once knew why I was attacking their planet. Halo has better Setting in the game- Halo has multiple different areas through out the game from forest, alien , broken down building, and more. KZ2 has pretty much the same look through out the entire game. Halo has better main guy. Master Chief is memorable and has become a game icon. Sev is beyond forgettable. Sev is boring. Halo has better bad guys- There is the flood and the convenant. With those two factions there is multiple models for each. KZ2 is copy and past the same black out fit with red eyes again and again (yawn). Halo has better vehicles- There is so many different vehicles in Halo. Not only that you can car jack them. KZ2 has only one vehicle and it is a tank and even then it has bad controls. Halo has better online- Halo has so much detail and data and stat tracking. Also so much user friendly. I think the online part was KZ2 best part but still not Halo lvl. Graphics technology wise KZ2 wins- KZ2 does win in the graphics area. I could really go one but you get the point. To compare Killzone to Halo is laughable though.rybe1025

Fable 2 wasnt exactly an amazing piece of eyecandy,but it was by no means a horrible looking game either.

I have to agree about the controls issue. K2's controls are very bad for a fast based shooter while Halo 3 manages to make actions faster and more lively. The story is a strong point for Halo 3 as well. But in all other sides, K2 is the winner imo.mithrixx

Anyways, KZ2 is an extremely exciting game. The bridge part, I forget where in the game, I haven't been able to play for a while, was a good example of the intense action in that game.

Killzone 2 is too repetitive and Halo 3 has no oomph to it, it just feels cheesy.

There is no debate. Halo 3 won in story, reviews, sales, features (coop, forge, video mode), and online replayability (seriosuly doubt KZ2 has the numbers or lasting power)Biotic2099
