IGN s grudge match KZ2 vs Halo 3!

Well, they're both great shooters and these comparisons are getting old. I wouldn't call them boring or overrated, I mean, they aren't Final Fantasy games.

Well no matter what Halo 3 scored better and KZ2 will not even come close to Halo 3 sales. Lets see KZ2 pass 1 billion online games like Halo 3 has. Halo is so much better then KZ2 is so many ways. Halo has a better story- A story for Halo that was able to inspire novels and comic books even. If KZ2 had a bad story it would be a improvement since there was no story. I played through the entire KZ2 game and never once knew why I was attacking their planet. Halo has better Setting in the game- Halo has multiple different areas through out the game from forest, alien , broken down building, and more. KZ2 has pretty much the same look through out the entire game. Halo has better main guy. Master Chief is memorable and has become a game icon. Sev is beyond forgettable. Sev is boring. Halo has better bad guys- There is the flood and the convenant. With those two factions there is multiple models for each. KZ2 is copy and past the same black out fit with red eyes again and again (yawn). Halo has better vehicles- There is so many different vehicles in Halo. Not only that you can car jack them. KZ2 has only one vehicle and it is a tank and even then it has bad controls. Halo has better online- Halo has so much detail and data and stat tracking. Also so much user friendly. I think the online part was KZ2 best part but still not Halo lvl. Graphics technology wise KZ2 wins- KZ2 does win in the graphics area. I could really go one but you get the point. To compare Killzone to Halo is laughable though.rybe1025

It looks like Halo 3 won that grudge match. In some of the catagories, it sounded like the Killzone 2 fan was just making up really lame excuses.

They're both great games, but Halo 3 is superior.

Story-I should not have to go to outside sources to find something as simple as why I am attacking the alien world. That is just stupid imo to need to read a website or play another game to know what is going on in KZ2. I am not saying the story needs to be the next catcher in the rye but at least a little something would have been nice.

Setting- For me in KZ2 it just all looked the same pretty much. There was no real contrast from one area to the next.

Eniemes- Fine Halo enemies bore you. You have to admit at least Bungie has a variety. There is no variety at all in KZ2.

Main guy- Fine then explain to me w3hat is going to make Sev a icon in gaming like Master Chief. What is so appeling about him then?? I found him dull.

Veihicles- That is not opinion. There is far more vehicles in Halo and offer you more abilites such as car jacking.

Online- Can be opinion which is more fun for a person. It is fact though Halo has far more info for online that KZ2 does not offer and Halo is more user friendly.

Saying Halos 3 story is better then KZ2 isint saying much. Since nethier is all that good in the story department. Also both MP for the games are fun. Halo is more arcady and you can make maps. KZ2 is more grounded and has a deep class system. SO yea you can mention both in the MP department. IN the end both MP are good mainly since both have a different feel to them.

Hm i doubt you have ever played Killzone 2, try finishin the game and play its online mode first before talkin smack about an amazing game. :roll:

many dislikes Killzone 2 because of not noob friendly controls and its hard to aim unlike resistance 2 and COD. But its very good though. It is very challenging and fun.
