IGN, the worst video game site ever?

Ok, let's admit it, IGN sucks and everyone who knows this is probably smart. Not only they influence fanboy wars between the HD twins the PS3 and 360 with their articles, their reviews are also biased. A lot of people thought their Uncharted 3 review is a joke. They also give out 9s to the games like hot cakes and even their staff members are video game fanboys. Is IGN (or IGNorant) the worst site to bring up the topics of video games and the biggest joke on the internet or do you think that it is better than Gamespot (I have no idea why you are here than if you think that IGN is better)?

I don't even bother to read anything from their site, especially the reviews. I don't mind hearing what a gamed scored there, but I then just laugh it off.

ign is the number one gaming site according to daily traffic and website ranking. but i dont enjoy that website, first the site is not easy to navigate and teh interface is not that great. i find gamespot to be the best website for gaming, even tho i dont agree with many of there review but the site is very easy to navigate and the forum are always active. it is easier to look up a game here than ign. also i dont enjoy ign review, i find gamespot review to be of better quality than their.

I remember right before BF3 and MW3 shipped they had a video with their IGN dog, saying something along the lines of...whatever game the dog picks, will be the better game...anyway, they had a camera attached to the dog and if you paused it at the right moment you could see that the MW3 case had treats in it...and their rewind theater, lol...horrible.

Good or bad, it definetaly has more influence than most website out there.

the problem with their website is that lemmings reviews xbox games, cows review sony games and sheep review wii games. that is why if u notice their scores for exclusives are usualy higher than everywhere else.

Nah, I like them... don't find their score reliable, but they have cool articles and their top lists are pretty cool.

They suck when they don't score your game high, and are great when they do. Just like every review site. Metacritic trumps all. I do think GameTrailers have the best and most professional review vids.ispeakfact

Both Gamespot and IGN are bad and that Max Payne review is an example of them too afraid of giving a lower score.

IGN is quite bad and unreliable for reviews IMO. It seems like everything's either a 9/10 or a 4/10. It jsut seems so random.

I trust using Gamerankings the most. Metacritic is way too weighted to get a proper average from.

You cant really just say that, every site has their share of fans and experts of the companies. And every site has its downside and its shares of "Biased" reviewers.

Im more home to Gamespot but i check IGN and others because relying on a game one just 1 site isnt enough.

I hope you're joking... Those are the least reliable ratings to go by since many fanboys give 0/10s to other system exclusives just to bring a game's average down.

They are not bad, thought in some reviews they be honest. But they are terrible just like X-play just make Cod the best game ever. And make the same gameing wars we can't stand of.

I remember last year when Greg Miller (IGN's resident PS3 fanboy) gave Uncharted 3 a 10/10. The game is good, but nowhere near that score.
