I enjoy all consoels too, Gears 3 is one of the best games I ever played.

I don't have Gears 3, I played it at my friends house. BF3 I actually played it on PC, not my PC though. I have Bad Company 2.

Colin brought up a really good point, which I believe is the main reason for the Xbox 360's success. The 360 is trying to be the center of the living room device and that relies on XBL being at the center of everything. The XBL experience is compelling enough to get people to buy any game on Xbox 360, not just exclusives and that's what drives the Xbox 360's success. Their is no doubt that Sony has developed/published a much larger, diverse and arguably a better lineup of games than Microsoft but PSN lacks in the social aspect of an online service that keeps people engaged with each other. Microsoft doesn't care about exclusives if they can offer a better overall experience around XBL and it worked this generation. I also agree with another point, Sony needs to launch the PS4 before the Xbox 720. Sony needs a headstart to capture the hardcore because they'll be able to establish a strong core market by providing great exclusive games. Nonstop-Madness

I do not know if Sony will release PS4 before 720, I don't think they will. But who knows, anything is possible really.

The strategies for next gen are quite interesting.

I don't see how Greg Miller is a Sony fanboy, he just has an opinion like everyone else. Bias exists in all forms of media, wether it be movies, news, or video game reivews. However regardless of wether or not you think a particular reviewer is a fanboy, it still does not change the fact that they have an opinion. If you don't like their opinion then that's you business, just ignore it.

There are some publications I find to be a bit to nit picky, like Edge, I find them to have a very "white glove" kind of attitude when it comes to games. But that is their opinion and they have every right to it. I don't think it makes them fanboys or non credible. It's just their opinion.

I think Greg Miller gives honest reviews which is why I like watching him. I don't agree with him on everything, no one would agree with someone else on everything, but I do trust his reviews and find most of them to be helpful.

Of course your own opinion matters more than that of a reviewer.

The strain came from over priced system, if PS3 was the same price as 360 at launch it would have been a different story. Sony's stratgey seems to be pretty solid, it is neck and neck with the 360 after all despite it's bad early years.

MS has a good strategy too, but that is not the point. The point is you should ask a question, what strategy do you as a gamer prefer? MS or Sony? Not saying either answer is wrong, it's just a preference.

Did you watch the video? Probably not.

It is referring to mainly current times, and the strategies each company is focusing on. MS does not feel the need to make new IP's or many exclusives in genearl because they don't need to. They do well by making Halo and Gears occasionaly and getting timed DLC for COD. Their strategy for next gen will be to focus on making the Xbox into a home media hub and continue their trend of Halo, Gears, Forza, Timed DLC etc....

That is what they are talking about. The strategy, and what one do gamers prefer. However many people are too invested in their systems as it is, so MS knows the next Xbox will sell regardless.

There are many AAA rated games, though the industry does not use AAA to refer to a games score, that's what SW is wrong about. And many PS3 games do sell quite well, read this: Quick Question: Why do people think PS3 exclusives don't sell...

Poor lems they can't go more then a couple of hours with ownage finding them.

I'm not really seeing the big deal about the 360 losing Mass Effect as an exclusive. The game came out in 2007, any money that was to made by having it exclusive Microsoft has made. Since they probably sold the rights to the game to EA, they managed to make a bit more money off of it in the process. I don't think anyone really cares about Microsoft losing the exclusivity, except maybe PS3 only gamers who will now have an opportunity to play the game.

Besides, didn't the game launch on the PC also? In that case it was never an exclusive to begin with.

I am not homosexual but I just ignore people who make gay jokes or suggest things like that. It is imature and I am a person that supports gay rights, they should live life free from discrimination.

The reason why I do not like games like DOA is because how they protray girls, the reason people buy that game is to watch cartoon boobs bounce. I love women, I find them to be a gift from God for men to fall in love with and enjoy, but I also respect them.

This is the same reason why I do not like porn, it is not realistic and they treat the girls like dirt. Women do not like to be treated like that in those videos. GS is full of immature people though, mostly kids who have no experience, so they do not know this.
