The only people who can't see a marked difference between a BR and regular DvD movie are either using a junk TV or can't afford a BR player and are jealous.dveight88
QFT. The difference is so huge you would have to be blind to not notice it.

You can have an opinion, but its adorable that you question the market. Exactly. How can he say the market is wrong when the market is the people who are buying them?

Quantity of purchases determines what is better? Since when? This theory doesn't work in the car industry, the food industry, and hell people put this theory down daly here in terms of games... so how is it "OK" now to say it for formats?

it is better. because everyone(well not everyone) thinks paying 40 dollars for a movie is crazy and stupid
I can't stand it when people state that upconverted DVDs looks similar or on par with Blu-ray (or HD-DVD). They must have terrible vision, or the world's worst HDTV. I do agree Blu-ray still has an uphill battle, though. The only appreciable difference it offers over DVD is picture quality. BD Live is garbage, and few people have sound systems good enough to even notice the difference in audio formats.DJ_LaeWell they do. :)
