Cows and Lemmings really are the most desperate to win here (and the most unlikely too). I mean it in regards to how both the PC and Wii get discredited just so they can win, its silly.

Dont you think its silly to say a games an exclusive when it really is not? Theres no denying that a game thats on the 360 and not on the PS3 is an advantage, but still, its not an exclusive. You dont need a 360 to play it, thats where it ends. If anything, instead of trying to change rules and make up words you should beg MS to get you guys more exclusives.

Which reminds, does anyone remember when some guys (forgot who it was) made a thread along the lines of Console IR pointer graphics king? What i found funny were the amount of cows/lems laughing, saying fail for excluding the competition when in fact they do the exact same pointless thing.

Can we make a special Olympic event where only amateurs are allowed to join? That would give me a few medals!

Most people dont call them exclusives, they are usually refered to as "console exclusive", a term used in the industry all the way back to when starcraft was ported from the PC, and has been used by the very site we post on.

Whats so hard to understand? PC/360 games are multiplats except when the thread is about CONSOLE exclusives.

I know this is System Wars, but I really wish that there was a Console Wars section on this site, where debates were left between consoles, so that games like Alan Wake, Gears, Mass Effect 2, etc, could be considered exclusives to compare to the great PS3 exclusives that exist and are coming soon, I don't own a high-end PC which is why I feel this way. (*Puts on flame suit*)

Not really, there was a huge thread on it not too long ago and we decided it wasnt (although there are still some cows clinging on to it). But it wouldnt have gone over so easily if the PS3 didnt already have 2 AAAEs.

Voice from the future: NGS2 is not an exclusive so dont even try it cows when it scores AAA (which we all know it will).

so basically people/lems (not looking at you TC) want to change the rules to make their system (the 360)look better in comparison to the competition? it shouldnt happen. when a game isnt exclusive its not exclusive, simple as that.

Na for WAW all platforms scored 8.5. For Ghostbusters the PS3 and 360 version scored 7.5 and the Wii version scored 8.0. Anyway im confused what i was talking about now and with that im done.

Honestly, all i would say is dont take this place so seriously. I mean even if they cant be seen as exclusives this place is all just for fun.

I recognize the Wii as a console, and the two games I listed were the first two to spring to mind (I agree that they probably were thetwo worst examples I could have picked looking back on the scores they got), I just meant that you can't get direct ports of games offered on the 360 or PS3 onto the Wii without making compromises in terms of graphics, not gameplay.

If you want to compare games so that Mass Effect 2 etc. count, you can just compare ALL games on both systems. The games they share with each other will negate each other and the games that are left will decide the outcome. It's up to you, I see no rules preventing such comparison.

However, if you are comparing EXCLUSIVES you cannot include multiplats just to change the outcome to your liking, it's simply not logical.

You can Play MGS4 on a PS3 or not play it at all, same for Killzone 2, and coming up next Heavy Rain (more or less the Ps3's answer to Alan wake) will be only available for Ps3. A game is exclusive when people are forced to shell out a certain amount of money to buy a particular platform in order to play (X,Y or Z Game), If you can choose to upgrade a PC into a gaming rig to play alan wake and LOL at the 360s sitting on the shelves collecting dust as you pass by, Im afraid that doesn't kind of fit the definition of exclusive now does it?

If you are comparing overall game libraries between the 360 and the PS3 then yes youshould include 360/PC games in that list. But if you are only comparing purely exclusive titles then 360/PC games shouldn't be counted as they are not exclusive titles.
