I also use facts...PS3 has no rumble...NOT DEBATABLE! PS3 sold same number of units in same time period as 360...NOT DEBATABLE! PS3 is $200 more expensive than premium 360...NOT DEBATABLE. Microsoft trying to steal exclusives away with lots of money....NOT DEBATABLE! But I guess you're right anyway! I need to change my threads and make them well thought out...because God knows there are soooo many of those in system wars with people calling each other names and flaming each other to death. As far as the gaming industry goes...You'd be a fool to think that MS doesn't consider Sony a threat. This is a gaming forum, we're not talking about the company's other venues.

I doubt that's going to happen. With multiple killer-apps releasing, Home, and a possible price drop. This same thing happened to the PS2 during it's respective life cycle. Don't declare a winner yet.
Why wouldn't MS be scared of the company that dominated the last two generations (especially now that MS launched first)?
I don't think there's anything wrong with a little fear since it promotes strong competition from all sides. MS is trying fairly hard which is pretty good for us consumers. Sony and Nintendo are keeping their cards for 2008 mainly I'm guessing since neither have anything too big this year, but that's allright since PS2 is still going strong.

That's true...and I agree. But regardless of the thread's title and theme, the subject matter makes plenty of sense...and if you're a smart person not easily ruffled by "internet emotions", you'd understand by reading the OP.
hmm lets see. Well yeah MS is a bigger company then SONY. The thread was about the gaming industry. SONY still owns the gaming industry cause of the PS2. 360 has got a year head start on the Wii and PS3. The PS3 is not failing at all. Its just not flying off the shelves cause of just 1 problem. The price.If the PS3 was about 450, I think they would have sold about 5 million by now. They all fear each other. Maybe the mac and PS3 should team up for whatever reason. Im loving all the competition cause they are just giving us more fun stuff.

Microsoft is trying its best to lure developers away from PS3. PS3 STILL has a ton of developers, even though it is not selling nearly as well as expected. Here is the problem. And I think Microsoft recognizes this. PS3 has sold over 3 million so far, about the same as 360 sold in the same time period. This IS WITHOUT...good software, being $200 more expensive, no rumble, no HDMI cable, terrible E306 showing, competing with 2 consoles, etc. See, Microsoft had a huge advantage in the 1st 5 months...360 had no competition for the next gen, had a $200 cheaper price point, had great software from the get go, has rumble, has a better designed controller from the original Xbox, had a much better E306 showing than Sony, etc.
But DESPITE ALL OF THIS, PS3 is still on the same sales track as 360. Microsoft is indeed scared of Sony and its PS3.

And just so you know, Blue Dragon did not fail in Japan. It actually did surprisingly well and sold about 175k consoles. Oh, one other thing. The PS3 is doing horrible in Japan too. The PS3 is getting 8k-13k sales in Japan a week and the 360 1k-8k. Japan this time around isn't going to be a big deal in the race, or so it seems. Compared to the PS2 sales both Xbox 360 and PS3 have horrible sales.

Scared, Intimidated, threatened, ect. Its all the same thing and Microsoft proves it way to often with everything they do that they know Sony is way more competition than they can handle. Microsoft is running scared trying to keep up with sony. Sure it is fine if you go after a development company to make games for you. But it's the fact that Microsoft is throwing money or something at these Previously exclusive Sony Developers to make games for themselves. and you know the best they can get is multiplatform.
Microsoft is Intimidated By Sony's big black box. So what do they do? They bring out thier own big black box and give it a better name than it deserves, the "Elite" Elite should be the best of the Best. Nothing missing. Well "Elite in microsofts book must mean a slight upgrade.
Threatened. Microsoft is Threatened By Sony's success and Power in the Game Industry. They try to throw it off by having thier mighty leader say they are more afraid of nintendo. The act like a scared school bully by throwing parties right by Sony. that is funny if you think about it but shows absolutly no class on microsofts part. It shows that all MS has right now to overcome sony is to try and make jokes about it.

Microsoft is running scared trying to keep up with sony. Sure it is fine if you go after a development company to make games for you. But it's the fact that Microsoft is throwing money or something at these Previously exclusive Sony Developers to make games for themselves. and you know the best they can get is multiplatform.
Microsoft is Intimidated By Sony's big black box. So what do they do? They bring out thier own big black box and give it a better name than it deserves, the "Elite" Elite should be the best of the Best. Nothing missing. Well "Elite in microsofts book must mean a slight upgrade.
Threatened. Microsoft is Threatened By Sony's success and Power in the Game Industry. They try to throw it off by having thier mighty leader say they are more afraid of nintendo. The act like a scared school bully by throwing parties right by Sony. that is funny if you think about it but shows absolutly no class on microsofts part. It shows that all MS has right now to overcome sony is to try and make jokes about it.
Well that just says fear to me.
