The only games that have been able to get me fired up are Battlefield BC and Battlefield 1943.Like if I get sniped I would mercilessly hunt the dork down and knife him, not shoot him, but knife him.If I get knifed then I'll have to knife the dude who knifed me twice.I don't know why the Battlefield games are the only games that heat me up so much, but I think it's normal to get competitive when you're playing against other people.

Like a someone above me mentioned, i only get video game rage when its not fair, for example:

- Completing Call of Duty 2 and 4 on Veteran

- Playing Halo 3 online with noobs, getting betrayed in Grifball over and over again, its like they never learn or are not aware of what they are doing, that gets me upset.

- I don't get upset when playing Ninja Gaiden tho, don't know why.

- When i play some old arcade games, but I barely do so thats fine.

Same here, even when I was 8, I have never broken a controller...And here is probably the best rage quit scene ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iv_XaPp-XIY

I've never raged on a game (SP or MP). In fact, I always thought it was odd when people I played against would, even exploited that tendency of them. I love videogames (I've been playing for over two decades, collecting, making for a brief three years etc.), but they are just videogames and they're not worth letting my emotions get the best of me. If a game was frustrating me I would most likely turn it off since it is more than likely a bad game (poor design, glitchy etc.).

I'm actually shocked to see people pass it off as th "norm".

That's what my friend does. It's very awkward and not much fun to play with him sometimes when he starts getting annoyed and swearing or something. Mind you, this is only when he's in a bit of an unhappy mood.

Im 25 years old and while i do game a lot i also have a life, a job and a wife. I have a good job, 401k, a savings, a wife and my own house so im not one of these people that play video games constantly.. But when i do Play i get very angry if things dont go my way.. I was playing NBA 2k10 earlier online, i started out the first quarter ahead by 10 points and i ended up losing and i got so mad during the game, yelling at the TV and screaming swear words as though i was the coach of the team or something lol. It also happens A LOT with Fight Night! I dont break my controllers like i use to because they are just too expensive now.. Does anyone else have video game rage?

While rage is not unusual, this is not normal behavior. You should try to get that anger under control before it begins to seep out into other aspects of your life.

I don't think your age, how much money you earn or the fact that you are married or not has anything to do with it.

[QUOTE="killa4lyfe"]if you wanna feel like ur totally awesome in a game do this: Play SF4, play on the hardest difficulty (its ezsauce dun worry) and face Seth and play the game like you normall would :) its awesome, and record this, then upload to utube :P :twisted:PSdual_wielder

How does that work though? You said it yourself the Seth is easy to beat.

But I would disagree unlike everyone here. At that age, no you should be more mature. After playing months of SF4, I have completely grown out of that. You win you win, and if you lose and you tried your best, accept defeat and figure out what you did wrong so you'll do better next time.

its obvious you didn't get the jk.....:|
