I only buy Nintendo consoles but I haven't gotten this flop yet for that very same reason, and the fact that the games it has are a joke.

I just feel the need to stop being fake and tell the world. I enjoy my XBOX1 and those graphics were nice, now I want some more muscle not a downgrade in graphics and a flippy controller with poorly implimented functions. I'm not trying to hurt feelings... I just can't lie anymore.

These days I'm almost almost afraid to say that I very much enjoy graphics, and that they can make or break a game for me. The prevailing notion seems to be that you're a "graphics whore" if you put too much emphasis on graphical quality.Teufelhuhn

and isn't the point of a forum to discuss our own ideas?  I say shame on some people... I love graphics and the reason I get into the next gen is because of them as well as the new ideas and bigger games.  Graphics are amazing and wii aint gotem at all so I'll pass...

Dude, if a game is fun; play. If it isn't; don't play. The End. Graphics don't make a bad game good. Fact. As long as the game if fun and plays well, it doesn't matter if the game isn't at the hight of graphical prowess. I personally have 14 games and I love to play them all because *gasp* I think they're fun to play. Deal with it. If you're only interest is graphics, then you are a casual and NOT a gamer. And if you're a casual, then your opinions on matters such as these hold no weight with me. Good day. 

I honestly have no problem with the Wii's graphics, but the problem lies in its poor library. Honestly, my Wii is nothing more then a dust collector where as I play my Xbox 360, and my PC every single day. project343

Despite your preface, your main point still seems to be "graphics don't matter".  Gameplay is not the only thing that makes a game worth my time, and I'm sure this applies to a lot of other people.

For the Wii? That was basically my question and it kind of proves the weak library for the Wii. If you ask the same question about say the 360, you get a mountain list of games, with reviews and impressions to back up the claims and they are games not only out now, but a mountain list of future games as well.

Because we're 6 months into the console's life? There are great looking games already out such as LoZ, SSX Blur and Sonic and the Secret Rings. With OTHER things coming into the future... RE:UC, Project H.A.M.M.E.R., Disaster: Day of Crisis.

Wii was never about graphics, but there are some games with great graphics.

Brawl looks awesome and apparently Metroid Prime 3 has had a huge graphical overhaul since E3 and it looks much better than Halo 2.

Well a lot of the Wii-haters on here claim that none of the other Wii games are worth mentioning, because they've either never heard of 'em or call them "kiddy."

So SSBB, Metroid Prime 3, and Galaxy are pretty big for sheep.

IMO, there is a mountain of games for the Wii, same goes for the majority of Wii owners.

None of those 4 are even my most anticipated, Fire Emblem is. Then there's Project HAMMER, Disaster, No More Heroes, Battalion Wars 2, Red Steel 2, Resident Evil: UC, Strikers Charged, NiGHTS, and the newly announced Project Rygar.

I don't know much about any of them, so I don't exactly brag about them.

Ehem... one more time for the hearing impared. "Graphics DO matter, but not as much as gameplay." THe point is you can't discount a game just because it doesn't push photorealism. Being graphically imperfect or inferior doesn't stop a game from being good. To do so is insulting to ones own intellegence.
