I'm not warning you, but lair is really disappointing

I almost buy a ps3 for this game until I played lair in person yesterday.

the demo graphics reminds me of 3dmark03, especially the water effects.not bad, but also not impressive.

the biggest problem is the framerate. I can't describe how many framerate, but when the low framerate can affect my controll and shooting, you can imagine how bad it is.

also the enemy AI , I can say it's not like a war , but some target practice game.:D

In my experience, cutscenes from Lair have always looked good, and gameplay from Lair has always looked bad - in my opinion. Lair will probably score a 7-something. Heavenly Sword will most likely be the game to wait for if you own a PS3.

Have I ever seen wild fanboys post things that aren't true? Yes. (not saying he is one but you know what I mean). Hard to trust people I barely know on a message boardover my most trusted videogame site on the internet. And yes, most of the times previews are poitive, but not as positive as this one was, which makes me believe it more so.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But I think the opinion of a professional video game journalist holds a little more weight than some random internet guy.

I've seen all the previews and watched a lot of footage. Lair looks promising.

ok, I can only decribe my feeling. you know the gear of war is 30fps, I can still feel a few lags occasionally., not too much.

in lair, I can estimate the lowest framerate is around 10-15 .

Maybe you were playing it on a Chinese brand Polystation 3.NobuoMusicMaker

... they are all the same on the inside.

I find that every Gamespot preview only has positive things to say, then the review totally contradicts it.
