It all started when they announced there will be no dedicated servers...

RECOIL! Cod has Recoil dude? Am i missing something here? Its not that hard to get headshots on Counter Strike either. I fail to see you point completely CS is a camping game just as much as COD is.People always jump to the conclusion that people hate what's popular.
I come from a history of Counter Strike. Call of Duty to me a step backwards in gameplay because I feel that all of the guns in that game have NO recoil. It's scary how fast people can pull off headshots because of the no recoil. In addition, you can't shoot through as many walls as you can in Counter-Strike and you are fairly accurate while walking and shooting. Lastly, if you play the deathmatch, that mode is camp fest. I'll often hear new people talking about about how when you first play you'll die a lot. It doesn't matter if you're good at aiming, you'll die a million times. Reason is because of the campers and because people have a lack of knowledge about the maps so it's harder to know where to go.
Now, I don't hate MW2. In the past I really liked call of duty games because they were intense in the gameplay. I feel that the campaigns are intense and action packed, but now the game shows its age as it's running on an old engine (the explosions/smoke still look absolutely horrible btw). The game is just way too overhyped. The activision CEO basically has everyone by the nuts and people will now gobble up any rehash. Infinity Ward is going to have to pull off some supernatual **** to continuously top call of duty if they are going to be making more.

The game would be good, if Activition give the devs more times and instead of recycle from old materials. The multiplayer get old real fast, compare to CoD4 and WaW which last me about 9 months each.
Again Camper friendly game? The complaints about campers are a load of rubbish. the majority of players do not camp and even when they do on core you have a KILLKAM to see where they were. Oh and heres a point would you run around like a headless chicken in a real war zone? Yeah thought not. I deal with so called campers quite often they are nothing and easy to take care of. Get a clue, buy the game, stop spreading lies. Overpowered guns? What gunsI cant stand it because of the really bad multiplayer maps, 10000s of glitches, Overpowered guns and killstreaks, and its the most camper friendly game probably ever

Bad netcode, party system has issues, match making is just horrible, horrible maps, gameplay to repetitive, noob friendly, campers delight. You can play all 15 maps and the gameplay feels the same through out. People vote to skip maps just for laughs I guess cause the maps all suck lol. Really its just mind numbing gameplay. People talk more about leveling than they do about gameplay.
being honest i totally disagree (bolded)thats a good thing the amount of times when i played BF2 when i first started i got tanned and thought why did i even bother its not a good thing for a new player and that kinda statement imo reeks of elitism cause it levels the playing field and thus imo makes it more enjoyable.
When house wifes play a fps and won't touch no other one, I call it a noob friendly game end of story. I know 2 house wifes that only play mario games and they take the ps3 from their husband to play cod4 and mw2. They didn't like getting rocked in KZ2, and they hate not hitting anything in Socom. But boy can they light them up some kills in mw2 lol. Kind of weird how that works out huh.I cant stand it because of the really bad multiplayer maps, 10000s of glitches, Overpowered guns and killstreaks, and its the most camper friendly game probably ever

Get a clue, buy the game, stop spreading lies. Overpowered guns? What guns First off, MW2 isn't by no means a sim, so don't bring in Real battlefield argument lol. The game most thoght was suppose to be a run and gun game, well now it isn't. The game is no more more than basically who sees who first. And campers working the kill streak perks. And the guns are horrible, literally when a auto shotty can be emptied without losing targets, or when a auto pistol can drop jokers from 75 yards, it certainly is noob friendly and the furthest thing from a real battle field, and the furthest thing of being good gunplay that I've ever seen in a game. Next to WAW, this is the 2nd most worst purchase of this gen for me, only thing that saves it is Spec ops and split screen play.i don't like codmw2 because it's a mediocre experience that caters to casuals and little kids.
i don't give a **** if it's popular that has nothing to do with it
singleplayer:
-short
-linear
-pretty much the same as cod4
multiplayer:
- unbalanced in every way possible
- no skill required
- the same as cod4 with new weapons/maps
- camp fest
- no recoil
other:
- $10 more then any other pc game for no reason whats so ever but to rip people off and see how far they can take it
- no dedicated servers on pc

Oh and heres a point would you run around like a headless chicken in a real war zone? Yeah thought not. I deal with so called campers quite often they are nothing and easy to take care of. Since it only takes a second or so burst from most automatic guns (or just one shot from a shotgun, sniper or RPG) to kill someone, the game is pretty much whoever see's who first gets the kill. And since camping in a corner or at the edge of the map means that there's no-one to kill you from behind and that you have a full view of anyone coming up in front of you, it's likely that you're going to get the kill if someone happens to be there. Basically, camping is one of the easiest, most useful and arguably most annoying tactics in the game; which is presumably why next to every player does it at least a few times once in a while. And although the killcam can be useful, it isn't much use if you end up spawning on the other side of the map and even then it doesn't guarantee that you'll kill them once you go back and find them (which you won't if they've decided to move like most good campers would).I cant stand it because of the really bad multiplayer maps, 10000s of glitches, Overpowered guns and killstreaks, and its the most camper friendly game probably ever
