I'm shocked as hell right now, but what reason is there to own a PS3 now?

I hate that double standard crap. Everyone considers the PC to not make it exclusive, but 99% of you people are too broke for a gaming PC...so basically, it IS exclusive to 360.

Reliability and Metal Gear Solid. That's pretty much the only advantages. I think FF13 moving over to 360 proves that Blu-Ray is unnecessary.

well metal gear is basically a score, i guarentee that any non metal gear fans will hate it. so we are left with LBP and reliability, still enough to own one bur to buy one aswel as a 360? not even close, this news matters to people like me most. those who were considering buying but now realise that there really is no point.

Let's put it this way. The PC is the 360's older brother. So a gaming being on both PC and 360 isn't exactly a loss for Microsoft. It's a gain for different audiences with different budgets and preferences.

That's a HUGE difference between the competetion Sony and Microsoft have.

i dont own a x360 for some reason. i wonder why?

It's still the best Blu-ray player on the market.

It has MGS 4, GT 5, Uncharted, Resistance, and a lot of Sony exclusive titles. Lets not be silly here ok?

I have no time, nor care how you interpret something and understand it. No child left behind certainly didn't stop for you.

If you grew up on the PS1 and PS2, MGS, GT and Tekken are the only classic Sony franchises that are still Sony franchises. Really only MGS, since GT has a direct head to rival in Forza and Grid and Tekken... non-brawler fighting games are sadly dead, but even if they weren't theres still Virtua Fighter and Dead or Alive are still there.

There is no real deal seperatator between a PS3 and 360 in terms of games, and if there were it'd goto the 360. Blu-Ray = only redeeming factor of PS3.

MS is doing no such thing. Final Fantasy is a huge franchise, they be stupid not to try and get it on their system.This is a solid strategic move for MS. They are trying to take away every 3rd party advantage their competition has.

I'll be taken as a fanboy, but you can't poke your head out here without getting that thrown at you.

My reason: brand loyalty and a dislike of MS's business practices. Among the customizability, free online, Bluray player, remote play, etc.
