I'm sick of all the hate towards PC

Seriously, PC is just the better platform, granted it costs more but my PC does EVERYTHING X-box and PS3 can do and loads more :|

The upgrade argument is complete rubbish, NO developer forces anyone to upgrade there PC, I upgrade mine because I like playing with all the eye candy turned on, That's MY choice and not something I've been forced into doing.

As I've said there's NOTHING the consoles can do that my PC can't but there's LOADS of things my PC can do that consoles can't, And on top of that my PC does the thing it can do at a better standard and quailty then the same feature on console ( PS3's FAIL web browser :roll: )

I'm a PC gamer because I choose to be, Not because I've been forced into it.

If you console gamers are happy to play your games at sub HD resolutions with no anti-aliasing or texture filtering at 30fps or less then that's YOUR choice and me wanting to play my games at 1920x1080p with 8xMSAA and 16xAF at 60+fps then that's my and every PC gamers choice :roll:

Think back to were gaming really started and then think what machines your uber awesome console games are created on, Think about what hardware your consoles weak GPU's were designed on, Think about were the companies who created the GPU's are and were they came from...

Without PC your amazing consoles wouldn't exist so try and show a little respect :|

Consoles do have a few advantages over PC. Namely...

Cost (though it's not as big a difference as people think)

Ease of use

Local multiplayer (which seems like it's being phased out in favor of online play for some reason)

And some people just like console exclusives more than PC ones.

The only hate towards PC gaming I see is from jealous kids who wish they could afford a gaming PC, and nothings gonna change their mind (unless of course they do get a gaming pc someday)

I used to be a mega console noob but then something happened, I upgraded my PC for the first time and that was it. I slowly became a PC gamer and now when I look at games on consoles I just see them for there bad image quality.

I suppose it's not so bad if you've never played a game on a decent PC as you haven't got a clue what you're missing out on but when you're that used to not seeing any jaggies and shimmering textures they do stick out like a sore thumb...

I know Uncharted 2 has amazing texture work but every time I see it running I notice the bad image quality and not the graphics!!

Modern Warefare 2, I seen the game on PS3 and it looked horrible, But I am comparing it to my PC version which is 1920x1080 with 12xMSAA and 16AF...

If all consoles games were ALL 1280x720 with 4xMSAA and 16xAF then I would have one :)

How do you not know what an ownership experience is? Its what you get from owning a product . consoles just work and no specs to worry about if some thing goes wrong they will fix it you can trade in games and rent them as well. cant trade in old pc games anymore .

console just work? yeah thats why when i put in my halo 3 disk my 360 basically blew up after owning it a week. thats why my ps2 stopped reading disks. thats my disks are scratched now. and about the specs as a pc gamer you dont worry about specs. its no different than on a console. you wouldnt expect a blu-ray player to play uncharted 2 you wouldnt expect a pc from 2003 to run al the games today.

and they only fix what they want to fix under a year. back to my ps2, sent it to sony they sent it back saying it was my fault because i used it to watch dvds.

you can still resell pc games.

Lol the 360 breaks because its made by microsoft . Everything they made is trash . windows stinks so does zune and there x box hardware . You still need discs for pc games Pc controls never change most controls for it stink unless you use a brand name one . Pcs have way more problems then consoles do .

and no you dont need to use a disk. i currently own no games that need a disk. and even if i did theres cdcracks so you dont need them.

most controls stink? its an irrelevant point. try using a 360 controller with a ps3 or mouse and keyboard or mind control or a wiimote on a ps3.

The PC beats all the consoles in AAAs(except the 360, oddly enough), AAAEs, AAs, AAEs, As, and AEs. The PC is dominant.

consoles dont do it nay more either, butUT3 and L4D are two games that natively support splitscreen on the pc. so yeah the pc does do it along with LANs.

you dont have to upgrade to keep with the best games you lower the settings like on a console

pc can do lan witch is cool . you can have like 30 people . But it can be a pain to set up . so many pc in one room lol .
