I'm sick of all the hate towards PC

The DON'T have rumble They actually do.

They CAN'T be played on a big screen HDTV My laptop has both HDMI and VGA ports so does my TV sooo...

They have NO true exclusives Crysis? Arma?

NO recent critically acclaimed games How recent do you want?? Past: Crysis (2007), Present-ish: Dragon's Age Origins (2009), Future (yes I can see the future :lol:) Mass Effect 2 (next week!)

NO major hype vessels for 2010 Star Craft 2? Crysis 2?

And honestly speaking with online now a major part of gaming systems, the only thing consoles could use are modding. I love PC gaming and have no ill will toward those who simply like it more, but PC elitism has no place when the PC is a dying game platform and everyone know it. When is the last time PC even had a GotY here?

How do you not know what an ownership experience is? Its what you get from owning a product . consoles just work and no specs to worry about if some thing goes wrong they will fix it you can trade in games and rent them as well. cant trade in old pc games anymore .

You don't even have sufficient enough evidence to claim that it would "probably" not be anywhere near where it is today. Remember, back to my steam punk example, you have no idea whether or not a grander form of energy would have come along, or even a more refined use of kinetic energy, which allowed for vastly superior computers to what we have now. All you can really say is that electricity was essential to the development of the current PC. Was it required? Maybe, maybe not.

In all seriousness, if that was the case don't you think that another form of energy would have already come along to trump electricity? Are you saying that it could be the existence of electricity that is holding everything back? Meaning that if it didn't exist then a better form of energy would have came along. But if that was the case I would think that what would replace it in its absence existed during its existence. So that makes me think electricity is the superior energy. So either way, if there is a better way, I would have to assume that it would have already been utilized.
