I can think of many games that do not have a justifiable $59.99 price tag.

As can I. Among them being Halo 3: ODST. The only people who are getting a deal out of this at all are those who don't own Halo 3 at all, and they still miss out on the original campaign unless they pay an extra $40. Those who already own Halo 3 are being ripped off (paying for the multiplayer twice), and those who already bought the map packs are being ripped off even more (paying for multiplayer AND the map packs twice). If they did something like this instead, I don't think anyone would be complaining:
"Full" version for people completely new to Halo 3: $60 for Halo 3: ODST's campaign, Firefight, the original Halo 3 campaign, and Halo 3's multiplayer with all maps released to date.
"Expansion" version for current Halo 3 owners who didn't buy the map packs: $40 for Halo 3: ODST's campaign, Firefight, and an install disc containing all maps released to date.
"DLC" options for those who already bought the map packs: $20 for Halo 3: ODST's campaign and Firefight, $10 for the new map pack.
1.) How so? ODST is a completely different game and tells a story that hasnt been told yet and firefight is its own multiplayer mode. The extra DLC is just the wip topping.
2.) That would make Halo 3 comepletely pointless as it is its own game, so to combine it with ODST would be shooting themselves in the foot.
