Okay, i read the article, so this guy is suddenly switching to PS3 because of the faulty hardware, that has been known since about a week after 360's release.
Plus he's also switching because he found out that he'd rather play Final Fantasy XIII on PS3 instead of 360.
Okay i can answer rebut that article:
First Microsoft's newest Xbox 360 Elite's power supply is completely reengineered, in fact it looks like someone took a knife and cut the power brick in half and it now only has a nice cool running output of 110-watts, so not only are there no more red rings but there are hardly any freeze ups anymore as well.
Secondly past history and developers have already proven that multiplatform titles look and play better 95% of the time on 360. So what if the writer of your article goes through the trouble of switching to PS3 and the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII is the worst of the two, because after all it's the PS2 Square Enix is used to making FF games on not the PS3, totally different architecture now ?
Bottom line is, if your going to switch from a 360 to a PS3, first do some research about the reliability of the very latest 360 hardware if you have that many 360 games and peripherals invested in Microsofts machine, because in my opinion you never switch just to play one game on the other console, especially if it's also going to be on 360.
