I was wondering to myself: If Apple announced a game console at E3, what would it be like? Well first of all, Apple likes thin, small devices, which would make a powerful console hard to make. Look at all of Apple products and see how obsessed Apple is about how thin and light their products are. MacBook is thin, MacBook Air is thin, iMac is thin, Mini Mac is so small it fits in your hand, the iPhone is thin, all iPods are thin, light and tiny. You get the picture.
So now, Apple makes a console and announces it at E3. Guess what? Its the thinnest console EVAR! It fits inside an envelope (Come on, don't tell me you don't care about your console fitting inside an envelope. We all know that this is incredibly important). Steve Jobs won't even bother talking about what games are out on it. He won't talk about what online service it offers. He will only talk about how thin it is. It is so thin you can place it anywhere around your TV, it has a clean design and has no annoying latches to get stuck on your clothes.
What are your thoughts? If Apple announced a game console at E3, what would your reaction be and what would you expect to see from it?
