IMO, Ninja Gaiden Sigma is better than 90% of next gen games released.

Yes, the gameplay of NG is amazing. But wouldn't we be saying the same thing if say, Metal Gear Solid was ported to the 360? (hypothetically speaking)

I can think of a lot of games that look better than NG:S personally. Uncharted, R&C:F, Mass Effect and Bioshock to name a few.

Maybe that's just because I played NG so much though...excellent game.

In the end though it is a port and I think most people would prefer a new IP instead.

With that said, its pretty exciting that Team Ninja is letting another audience discover their greatest game.

Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword seems to be a very promising title as well.

I've been playing Ninja Gaiden for the past 3 years, I just clocked over 400 hours on Ninja Giaden Black recently, 432 hours to be exact. 

its arguably better than all the so called 'next-gen' games released. call it a remake, rehash, port, or any other crap, the fact is a good game is a good game, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a great game.xxThyLordxx

dude Ninja Gaiden Black is also better than basically every current gen game released so far too.  what a game, cant wait to pick up sigma to finish it yet again.

lots of people have been bashing NGS. calling it a port, rehash or whatever. I'm just saying that a good game is a good game regardless whether its a port, remake etc. besides there is a huge improvement from NGB to NGS.

Fair enough, I agree with that. NG:S will definately be an awesome game. Right now though, I'm ready for NG2.

I loved NG the first time i played it on the xbox and it going to great for the PS3.

A great game ported up will always be a great game. Regardless of what console it is on.

Nah.  Conker on the N64 was an absolute triumph.  After the single player was over, you had hours of mulitplayer.

Conker on xbox was pretty, but after the single player was over, you got a butchered multiplayer experience that didn't hold a candle to the original.

Because eventually there will be better games than NG on next-gen consoles. 

I'll stick to Gears and Vegas, but it must be an OK game.

  Because that last gen game + a libary of over 3000 games ( PS1 + PS2) + more and more great next-gen games coming out IS MUCH BETTER THEN buying a last-gen, already obsolete system !

you mean how it looks NOTHING like black? how it runs in 1080p and 60 fps? i own black and compared it on my 60 inch 1080p sony. the differences in the games are huge. so be a lemming bash it all you want. till you play it then you will be quiete20Dylan

 Try and tell Itagaki that, and Sigma will be held back by low sales of the PS3. Furthermore NGs = NGB, yes, HD graphics do not change a game, still same game with improved visuals.

im going by the demo which was beautiful. the full game will have alot of differences. there is tons of in game footage out. if you stopped being biased for a second you would check the videos out

 Yes because NGB is a good game and NGS is essentially the same game so it should sell well enough.

New content has been added and there are lots of people who didn't play Ninja Gaiden since it was only on the Xbox, which would be the PS2 owners.  Some of those PS2 owners may have bought a PS3.
