Neither of the last two Ninja Gaidens sold particularly well. So it being "feakin Ninja Gaiden" doesn't really support that at all
[QUOTE="The_Ish"][QUOTE="Raidea"]Edit: Thought you meant better graphically.
Yes, the gameplay of NG is amazing. But wouldn't we be saying the same thing if say, Metal Gear Solid was ported to the 360? (hypothetically speaking)

Yes, and what does this have to do with his statement?
A great game ported up will always be a great game. Regardless of what console it is on.
This is like, common sense. I was only confused by your statement because you wrote something positive, then wrote "but", yet followed it with a positive that only reinforced the first part of your sentence.
Were you trying to say something else?

its arguably better than all the so called 'next-gen' games released. call it a remake, rehash, port, or any other crap, the fact is a good game is a good game, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a great game.xxThyLordxx

Is this in the UK alone or world wide? Because from what I remember my local game stores were usually out of stock of NG. Then again it could just be where I live.

Neither managed a million worldwide, considering the quality of that game, I consider that very low.
Â
It makes sense for ps3 fans to be excited for this game, since to them it's pretty much a new game if they didn't play it on the xbox. But they need to understand that for 360 fans....they don't care. They've already played, beaten, and probably sold or traded in pretty much the same game, only without the "next gen touch". Better graphics and 60 fps will not erase the repeating stories levels.Â
So ps3 fans enjoy your new game, but when you are trying to claim "ownage" keep in mind that most 360 fans have already played this game.

Complex time consuming games are always going to have a smaller audiance. If you don't have the time to invest none of those titles have much too offer.
"While it's easy to try to write this game off as a next-gen port of a last-gen game, there's clearly more here than a new coat of a paint. New chapters; entirely reworked graphics; a new playable character (Rachel) with her own story missions; and more goodies, including boob jiggle physics found in other Tecmo classics (and I'm not talking about Tecmo Bowl). How many new missions are there or don't we know?

I kind of disagree. People get tired of games. You can have a great game from last gen, but if you've already played through it 2-3 times you are not going to get the same enjoyment out of it, even if the graphics look nicer. IMO, the original splinter cell on the xbox was great, but take the same game and improve the graphics it wil still be unplayablet o me because I've already played through it.Â
And when you break it down....if I payed $600 for a console, I would at least want original games.
[QUOTE="themyth01"][QUOTE="e20Dylan"]you lemmings forget this is freakin ninja gaiden... its going to sell well. no matter what your fan boy opinion of it is-The-G-Man-
Yes because NGB is a good game and NGS is essentially the same game so it should sell well enough.
New content has been added and there are lots of people who didn't play Ninja Gaiden since it was only on the Xbox, which would be the PS2 owners. Some of those PS2 owners may have bought a PS3.
A new mission doesn't make it a new game, heck, NGB added over 15 new challenges and it was still Ninja Gaiden, it is still the same game with shinier graphics. Good for the ones that never played NGB but people have played NGB don't need to play this game.
[QUOTE="DXGreat1_HGL"][QUOTE="e20Dylan"]you mean how it looks NOTHING like black? how it runs in 1080p and 60 fps? i own black and compared it on my 60 inch 1080p sony. the differences in the games are huge. so be a lemming bash it all you want. till you play it then you will be quiete20Dylan
That's all? You honostly think people are willing to shell out extra money just for some graphical difference? Sorry but, as usual, your arfument fails...
im going by the demo which was beautiful. the full game will have alot of differences. there is tons of in game footage out. if you stopped being biased for a second you would check the videos out
So when Casey asks you to elaborate your point about how it's so much better than NGB and all you come up with is the graphics, the fact he's not convinced makes him a lemming?
Also NGB sold less than a million, I'm pretty sure it was the highest rated game on the Xbox too.
Unless there's something you know that makes Ninja Gaiden Sigma so much better than the three year old Ninja Gaiden Black than stop hyping it and wait for Gamespot's review, if they compliment the games content and give it a great score then you can start making a big fuss, but right now all you're talking about is pretty graphics.

ugh, if you need a 60 inch TV to view the major differences, than is it really worth it? I would not say that 60 inch televisions are common.

That's true. Take Nintendo with Zelda: OoT, they remade OoT for the GC with new challenges, redifined dungeons and better graphics, but it wasn't a new game.

I dont remember cows bashing Ninja Gaiden. Welll maybe some die hard cow once in a blue boon. In fact, that was the one of the only Xbox games that hardly ever seen get bashed by any fan group, atleast from what ive seen. Now DOA on the other hand is the Team Ninja series that I have seen getting bashed countless of times. So many times ive seen people making fun of DOA. Or many times ive seen people calling Halo 1 @ 2 the most overrated game ever but Ninja Gaiden was probably the least bashed game on the Xbox.
