Imperium of Man vs The Covenant

See... we have a Genocidal, Anti-Alien, Fanatically Religious Human Empire from the 41st Millenium against a Genocidal, Anti-Human, Fanatically Religious Alien Empire from the 26th Century. Which is more badass as an Empire?

Duh imperium of man.

The covenant self boned themselves, and got screwed by Master Chief.

The Imperium is too damn potent to lose.

Between the Guardsmen crushing anything that tries to attack themwith their treaded war machines and near limitless infantry and the jacked up Space Marines going out and purging entire planets for the sheer fun of it I don't think there is anything more badass then that.

I still prefer the Tau though.

I well I never heard of this "Imperium of man" and im sure im not alone when I say that the Covenant is widely more known.

That said, I would have to say covenant, because I know absolutely nothing about the other choice.

the covenant more badass because the general public knows more about them (how can the imperium of man be more badass if only the hardcore gamer knows about it????). if you asked this question to regular ppl, they would say covenant because at least they know it comes from the "halo videogame"

also, and a more direct point, the covenant have superior space ships and have no need to fight on the ground. they can simply "glass" them.

Umm some IoM ships can rip a planet apart in seconds and the heavier ones are barely affected by that kind of weaponry. Covenant are also pretty reluctant to glass planets. The IoM won't care about the losses of a few hundred.
