btw, previews don't mean squat.. Too Human received a lot of positive previews and look how that turned out.

Bungie has created nothing but AAA blockbusters on XB platforms.. does that stop fanboys from bashing Halo? Gears continues to be a blockbuster series w/ "praise to hell in back by the press".. does that stop fanboys from bashing it? OhSnapitz

I think people are really starting to be impressed with the wrong things in MadWorld. Yes it's violent, but it's complete over the top violence. It's basically Tom & Jerry violence taken to the next level. People are beaten, battered, and dismembered, but it's never real gruesome or done to disturb viewers. It's all done to make you laugh. Personally I'd say the earlier Metal Gear games were more violent than MadWorld based on what I've seen in the previews.

That being said, there's plenty to admire in MadWorld. The artstyle,soundtrack, announcers,concept, and the sheer variety of ways to kill people. There's no doubt that a lot of time, effort, and care went into this game.

Its just like the MadWorld sticky incident. There was obviously some bias against the Wii exclusive sticky. Considering how the RE5 was less active. Yet its still a sticky. Thats the way it is, the Wii will always get the black sheep treatment. No need to keep complaining about something that won't end.UGCoat

Meh. I have'nt been impressed with a game developer's "balls" since God of War. Until a non-hentai game comes out with a foursome and full-frontal nudity that will continue to be the case.

As for the violence in MadWorld, I find it too cartooy to take seriously. In God of War or Ninja Gaiden I go:"Yeah! Woooo! I just ripped/sliced that mother****** in half!" With MadWorld its like: "Hey, come look at what I did! Isnt that funny?!" The game is very violent, but more violent that a NG, a GoW, a Manhunt, or even Gears? Nah.

Thats not what we said. The argument was that they're rehashing previous material and adding violence and a color scheme sin city. There's nothing particularly oriignal, unique, or interestic about Madworld
