In 8 MONTHS the Wii has sold NEARLY HALF of what the GC did in 6 YEARS

btw. the only reason why fanboys are so adament about the Wii not getting third party support is because they are afraid what will happen when it inevitably does. Look what the Wii has accomplished with a couple big first party titles alone... I'm afraid to see how badly it would slaughter the 360/PS3 when it does.

But it is an achievement especially as it will soon outsell the Xbox 360 which has had a year head start and a lot of third-party support.

Actually, GC sold 21.6 million. Also, Xbox sold 24 million. Big difference.

True, but it's probably the most incredible turnarounds in videogame history. I think if there's one thing that Nintnendo can be lauded for it's dominating the market so strongly after such a poor run

As gamers we naturally prefer the PS3 or the 360 (and the DS for handhelds) but the Wii will probably win this gen thanks to casuals and that's a remarkable achievment

It's just as true as the usual hater flat-out ignoring titles coming out exclusively on the Wii that would otherwise had been on many of their own wanted lists.

Battalion Wars 2 is a solid-looking title that any gamer should be excited about, yet it's never mentioned by haters. And you know they don't think it's worthy when they don't even bother to bash it.

Well this thread isn't bad like the other ones.

I honestly don't hate Wii. But I post my honest opinion and it's ussually negative.

But since this thread wasn't really negative to PS3 or 360 i posted something positive.

Nintendo is known for it's excellent games. They make some of the best games EVERY single year.
