lol, I love the "old school" RE games, to be completely honest I didn't like that much RE4 and I am not that hyped for RE5 those new RE are more action/adventure games than survival horros >_> and I loved the second iteration of the franchise, when playing with the second character and Nemesis (?) following you man, that was THE RE game :PThat's funny, because I don't view RE4 to be apart of the RE series, in the survival horror sense. It's an action game now, but I did like it as an action game.
RE2 was my Favorite RE game EVER, and it was developed and directed by one of my all time favorite Directors, Hideki Kamiya (RE2, DMC1, Viewtiful Joe, Okami, New Game coming Soon!.
It's funny, because I've talked to A LOT of RE2 fans, and they didn't seem to know about the FLASH system gameplay mechanic once you beat the game. Sadly, they missout out. Mr. X coming through the walls made that game So dang awesome!
RE2 was my favorite RE game BY FAR, so I definately do agree. RE4 I liked a lot, but I categorize it differenly in my mind. :)
