Im gonna buy Virtua Tennis 2009 if it supports trophies and is as good or better than the previous one, loved the demo of that.

1) Mirror's Edge was freaking fantastic. Running on open-rooftops was one of the most exhilarating gameplay experiences I've ever had. And I didn't find it frustrating/hard at all.

2) Crysis ISN'T some kind of Graphical God. Yes, it is the best looking game ever made, but not by THAT MUCH. I do think there are games on consoles that kind of come close. I think the gameplay is fantastic, though.

3) Super Mario Galaxy wasn't very good. It was way too easy, and immediatly after "beating" the game for the first fake ending, the game immediately loses all sense of focus and it becomes impossible for me to care enough to play anymore.

4) Grand Theft Auto IV didn't kill the series, and it also didn't rebirth it. It just kinda went along and did its thing. It didn't suck, but it wasn't fantastic. It was just kinda good.

5) Spore was REALLY GOOD. It was casual. But it was fun. I can just sit down and play it for 20 minutes and feel like I got something out of it, put it away for a week, and then get back to it and not be lost.

The fact that pretty much every single MGs fan wouldn't accept Snake without Hayter's voice will grant any Live Action movie the epicfail status.

And a recent one, this is quite funny: Mario Kart is a better racer than gran turismo.

When I read that I was like: "WTF, a cow supporting Halo??" :lol:

I'm not super-knowledgeable, but I definitely agree with 3 & 4. There are some pretty cool segments of SMG, but it was nothing like playing SM64 (which was muchmore "epic"and challenging at times). Hell, I'll go ahead and say that I actuallyprefer Sunshine to SMG.

Also, I fail to see what all the fuss over GTAIV was about. I haven't played much of it, but it certainly doesn't scream "TEN!!!" to me.

Tactical army shooters stink.

Nintendo is still the greatest gaming company ever.

I agree with Mario Sports games being fun and GCN being far better than Xbox, but the rest of those...

Mine:

For FPS, Wiimote > dual analogs.

Half-Life 2's single-player wasn't that great.

Majora's Mask is the best Zelda game.

Wind Waker's sailing was actually kind of fun.

Oblivion was a good game, and its combat was enjoyable.

Silent Hill 2 isn't scary, but FEAR is. (This is coming from someone who prefers more subtle horror)

Turn-based RPG combat isn't obsolete.

DLC isn't evil.

Achievements aren't evil.

FPS aren't the only games being made anymore.

1)None of the GTA games deserve a 10.

2)The microwave room portion of MGS4 is not that great of a gaming moment.

3)Halo 3 is just another generic shooter, and I had more fun with UT2k4.

4)I still think it's wrong to have a chainsaw on guns.

5)Halo3 flavor Slurpee was the most horrible crap I have ever tasted, I can't believe I even considered giving it a try.

The Halo Edition Mountain Dew tasted awful as well, lol

Also imo shooters are better on consoles.

Oh and RTS can be and will be done on console one day Halo Wars was just a push in the right direction

Unpopular opinions eh? How about,

Current gen consoles have zero games worth playing (except GTA 4, which is better on PC)

I prefer kb/m for every genre, including platformers, hack-n-slash and fighters. FPS is horrible on consoles - Wii is decent, but only for rail shooters.

True gaming is slowly dying, casual and mainstream crap will take over. 99.5% of modern games are not worth playing.

None of the consoles, except Neo-Geo, can be considered a hardcore platform.

JRPGs are all worthless, mostly because they are too Japanese. With the exception of Princess Maker 2.
