In your opinion realistically will any game get a 10 on game spot this year?

I know some people are caught up in the hype, but will any game get a 10 on game spot? Or will it simply be max 9.5? (Can't go lower because Gears of war 3 already achieved it.)

Edit: I don't think GS wants to hand out any 10s. So, unfortently no.

Skyward Sword probably has the best chance I would say.

I have voted no, looking back at the games that have got a 10; I personally dont believe any of them have warranted a 10and I think gamespot may be weary of handing anymore out unless something arrives which is clearly that much better. I personally dont believe any game this generation has warranted a 10, sure there has been some great games but nothing remarkable in my opinion.

I wont say know but their is actually a chance some game will.

I don't think it is realistic to expect any game to get a 10. A 10 is reserved for a game which is better than expectations. A game that surprises, innovates and excels in ways that were not expected.

The only game i see with a chance is Skyrim.

Skyward Sword has the best chance. Other than that, I'd say no.

I doubt it, GS is pretty strict with their ratings, last time we got 10's were in 2008 with MGS4 and GTA IV (both well deserved I'd say), but despite a bunch of awesome games in later 2008, plus in 09 and 10 I'd say there's no chance. Maybe Skyrim, but I doubt it.

Gamespot gave Golden Eye for the N64 a 9.8, not a 10, but pretty darn close.

Except it's not. It's more like expecting the Patriots to win the super bowl. Sure it's kind of a stretch but it's not all that far fetched.

If Gears 3 didn't, and it was agame clearly favored by the GS+MS conspiracy against Sony, so no... no game will get a 10 score this year.

Arkham City might if they really improve everything from Arkham Asylum.

I believe there will probably not be a 10 game this year. I'd consider Arkham City, Uncharted and Skrim are the most likely to get A 10 on GS.

i want to say uncharted 3, but even if it gets the across the board 10/10s and GOTYs that uncharted 2 got, they still probably wont give it a 10/10. and if Tom Mc-bias reviews it, than it definitely wont score higher than an 8.5.

Portal 2 didn't get a 10 so that only shows how messed up the GS reviewers are.

i would like Tom if he had a shred of objectivity and integrity in his reviews. his review for infamous 2 is so smarmy and full of spiteful nitpicking that it is clear he was biased against it from the beginning. it is one of the most misinforming, hate-filled, biased reviews in this site's history.

I have yet to come accross a single person who has played the game who shares his opinion. there is not a sane person who has played both infamous games who thinks that the second game is worse than the first.

He really does make the site look bad because once people read his review and play the game for themselves they will think

"gamespot gave "infamous" a 9/10 and "infamous 2" a 7.5/10? they clearly dont know what they are talking about."

Max Payne 3 perhaps. Everything else, not a chance.
