NO ONE was going around system wars proclaiming Detroit to be the next coming or even mentioning much about it outside of it being a part of Sony 2018's game line up.

The same can NOT be said about Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2 for the xbox community!!!

You guys went to talking up both those games up over Sony exclusives all before release, saying things like, "God of War is a 1 and done rental game but I'll play Sea of Thieves for 100+ hours" ect. ONLY to under-hype them once hype threads were finally created saying you guys only expect a 7.0.

agree unfortunately. i'd absolutely love a return to form i.e. pre-halo 4 but i've got close to zero faith 343 can deliver it

I still think a return to form is possible. The older storylines for Halo were very simple and there was no need for any drama. But 343i made their new version the top priority. Which is drama, sci-fi and action. Big emphasis on the drama part.

Halo is garbage. The only thing I want for my Xbone is the next Forza.
