There really aren't that many indies I'm interested in. There are the ones I hear about on places like this and only a handful seem appealing - the Messenger comes to mind.
If I had to pick just one I'd go with AAA/AA, but there's probably not many of those I'd by these days either.
@pc_rocks: Penguin Land (SMS -1987) has an excellent level editor and V-Rally 2000: Expert Edition has the best track editor ever.
Unity is cancer. It's just convenient because it comes with libraries of assets and unlimited assets to download, taking the effort out of making something yourself. It is poorly optimized to run on all platforms so attractive as a tool but your game will be atrocious unless you are Blizzard. Road Rage. You will never be forgiven. You only look good next to Road Rash 64.
'Klik and Play' was a game creator that did not stand up to it's title.
The indies Ivan mentioned are sh*t. JRPG nostalgia grabzzzzzzzzz. Poor platform game. Anything with zombies and I run a mile. Ideas are hard, I know.
Here are some good indy games (with indy meaning independant as in not published by a large company).
World of Goo, Braid, Prison Architect, Euro Truck Simulator, Mini Metro, Cities in Motion, Mount and Blade, Hotline Miami.
These are games which are unique and not just copying 90's games for attention. None have zombies in.
Oh yeah, I could include Minecraft (pre MS buyout che-ching!). It's just only barely a game and I rate it at about a 7/10. 1 developer. Most successful game since Tetris.

I know about Unity's limitations however you missed the point. Dreams isn't revolutionary or bringing anything new to the table. Games had level editors and support for user generated content since the 80's. Plus PC specifically has a history of excellent mods/player generated content that themselves have become entire genres. Saying you can supposedly create *any* indie game with Dreams hence it's better than all the games out there is akin to saying UE4 is the best game ever. That is stupid as hell.
