I have been talkin maaaaad smack about the Wii....but I just saw some really amazing screens of a game called Super Mario Galaxies....

I had no clue this game was sooo amazing looking.....I hereby admit ownage for everything negative I said about the Wii's graphics....

This game looks good.  Not as great as rachet and clank screens mind you, but good enough to provide an immersive experience.  I think that's the philosphy of the wii.  An upgrade for graphic's sake is not needed. 

EDIT: although I still wish the wii had a graphics upgrade, just for pretty's sake :)

Doubtful that you will.  There's not much reason to go higher than 720p if it means paying more money.

Why are you "admitting ownage"?  Super Mario Galaxy doesn't even look all that good... the character models do, but the environments look like ****.  I'd even go so far as to say that some of the environments look straight out of the N64 days, as Super Mario Sunshine's environments look eons better than SMG's.

It doesn't matter... GS allows off-topic threads like this as long as they are along the lines of "bashing cows".  It's only when "bashing cows" threads become too obvious when they get locked.
