InFamous 2 is an (although not always recognized as) AAA game

Agree completely. Both highly underrated and underappreciated. The elements in Alan Wake are so unique and the story telling is top notch. Not to mention the gameplay and visuals as well are top notch. Definitely AAA. Infamous 2 just flat out topped its predecessor in every way. Definitely AAA as well.

Scores don't really matter either way because Gears 2 and Dragon Age 2 got great reviews from "professional" web sites yet the fan reception for both games was negaitive.

I'm playing the game right now, its amazing, I don't understand how anyone who enjoyed the first would think that infamous 2 deserves any less than a 9!

The game is underrated, but I would give it an 8.5 personally. I thought the story and voice acting was terribly under par, so that keeps it from being AAA to me.

From my three minutes with the demo, it's a solid 7.25.UCF_Knight

For me it's an AAA game that got a score that it deserved.

I liked it but I can understand why it could score a 7.5. All the whining about it should just stop.It's a great game (I liked it a lot more than the first game) but there is some ANNOYING things about the game and the story isn't all that great. So, the review was a bit harsh, deal with it and move the hell on.

People should stop looking at scores and read the actual review.

Infamous 2 gets a 10/10 for me, 4th best game ever IMO, next to Uncharted 2, Zelda:OoT, and Final Fantasy 9.

It clearly deserves far better ratings than Uncharted 2 got IMO.

inFAMOUS 2 has better, faster paced, and more in depth/involved combat. InFAMOUS 2 has platforming that is 80 times better and actually matters. InFAMOUS 2's story is actually interesting and different as opposed to Uncharted 2's pathetic tale. InFAMOUS focuses on excellent gameplay whereas Uncharted 2 focuses on telling a narrative and lets that control what gameplay is available
