My guess is you haven't played the original inFamous... I can tell you that one of the most shocking endings from this gen was delievered via inFamous IMO.

yeah, it's definitely too early to judge.

right now, it's certainly standing at the top tier of best looking open world games...have to wait until it releases for a final verdict though. ;)

well, really, it wouldn't even be a fair comparison. Mafia 2 (even if it did look better), never has to render even half of the things going on on screen as Infamous 2. same applies even moreso to Red Dead Redemption.

plus, the framerate looks loads better than RDR (this was my GOTY 2010 BTW), :P.

I still don't like cole's new voice... Gonna enjoy having more elemental powers though. I think good guys get ice and bad get fire right? And the beast mentioned in the first one uses fire as well... I doubt that will be the case, considering Kessler is Cole from the future--who fought the beast, and failed. Then, returned to the past on a mission to make himself a stronger, more emotionally detatched "conduit" (pun intended :P) for mankind's salvation.

Damn if only I had more money beyond buying Gears 3 + Uncharted 3 to buy this game :cry:- replay value looks phenomenal (bashing things with superpowers NEVER gets old)

I haven't gone through every page of comments, but I can't be the only one that thinks that looked pretty average, right? I mean, Prototype was 'alright' & personally it looked more exciting than this. People really need to stop hyping up games as the next coming of christ. I was so excited to play a lot of the PS3 exclusives because of how much they were hyped here & so far only Demon's Souls has really impressed me.
