HR yes this one, no IMOOverall hype has been AA.
Although, I'm gonna say it'll be a 9.0. Best believe it. This and Heavy Rain will surprise people, methinks.

I mean character development as in he actually has personality and wasint a sterioed robot. Yea it had bosses the most easyiest bosses known to man with no personality. Hell the bosses were just a goon with more health. Yea those were the 3 best on PS2. Your acting like being 3rd in the 3 best platformers on ps2 is a bad thing. It doesint take away from its awesomeness.

I always felt Sly was better than Ratchet. :P
Same here. I was just trying to make it fit in his perspective.
Good news. I've been waiting for this game. Finally a new IP for my PS3. Only other games I want are Uncharted 2, God of War 3 and GT5. Gotta save some money for June. This could be the year of the PS3. Hopefully these games will sell well.
[QUOTE="finalfantasy94"][QUOTE="Sonic_on_crack"]This is made by the Sly Cooper People ? no wonder it looks so bad, no sorry not feeling it. Looks like Crackdown just as night and lighting powersSonic_on_crack
DID YOU JUST PUT DOWN SLY COOPER!!!!! That series is awesome. From its gameplay to its characters. I guess you can callinfamous crackdown execpt this has cool powers, character devlopment,a actualy story and cool bosses and enimies. Dont get me wrong i love crackdown and hope for a sequal, but these two are nothing alike besides the open world part.
Crackdown had leveling and bosses . And this game basically looks like a rip off of Crackdown which is bad considering Crackdown was bad And out of PS2's biggest Platformer series Jak and Daxter, Sly, and R&C , Sly was the 3rd best ...I wouldn't say Crackdown was bad. It was a bit short and easy but it was still fun.
There you go scottie.
I hope it's a solid and fun game , but I always seem struggle with "sandbox" type games because of the missions .... but this one looks more on the action side which would be good for me. The Electricity powers , cover mechanics , comic-book style narrative , and traversal look like a lot of fun.Hopefully there is a lot of game there instead of a lot repetitive little errand missions.

Don't get all sensitive about it, I just can't believe anyone would buy Onechanbara, let alone announce it. :P Don't need to throw that "I decide what I like for myself' nonsense at me either. I'm all for swimming upstream, but not just for the sake of it. There needs to be some substance there that I just suspect Onechanbara (38.44% avg on GR) lacks. In my opinion, buying horrible games doesn't make you a "real gamer", it makes you part of the problem.

You basically said SR2 is better than GTA IV. I'm not part of the problem, but part of the solution. You on the otherhand, not so much.
Ok, you obviously want to turn this into a little fanboy dispute. I'm not biting. I just wondered why the hell anyone would advertise paying money for godawful games.
GTA4 is a better game than SR2. The world is more realistic, the engine is more polished, the radio stations humor is sharper, the gunplay is better, the core mechanics are more polished. That said, once you beat GTA4, if you don't want to play online, it's over. I beat it twice, I know what it has to offer. SR2 on the other hand is jam packed with side missions, such as dousing ritzy neighborhoods in sewage from a sewage truck to lower property values, jumping in front of vehicles for insurance fraud, etc. It constantly keeps you guessing, which is what I loved about the GTA series. What is it going to show me next? A parachute, a monster truck, a mountain bike, a JET PACK? GTA4 trimmed the fat and toned the core gameplay up, but the fat is exactly what I loved about the old GTA games. S
hort answer is that while GTA4 is a better overall game, SR2 is infinitely more fun. Now will you stop crying?
Saints Row 2 is HARDLY a worse game or purchase than Onechanbara or Matt Hazard. I think you would be hard-pressed to find someone that disagrees.
There is no need for petty jabs at me man. I was ribbing you about buying crappy games, and you took it way personally.
There you go scottie.

Haha :D
Anyways, Crackdown was fun and a very underrated game. I think this could very well be better.
Finally a new IP? Uncharted, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Folklore, Valkyria Chronicles, Warhawk, Motorstorm, LittleBigPlanet... I'd say it's been pretty good for new IPs. Most of the 4th and 5th sequel games are multiplat.Good news. I've been waiting for this game. Finally a new IP for my PS3. Only other games I want are Uncharted 2, God of War 3 and GT5. You can dish it but you can't take it? Oh well.
Nobody was "dishing it out", though. You seem to have a persecution complex.
The last thing I am is afraid of an argument with you, but I can think of more productive things to do, like sticking my head in an oven.
My bad for dissing Onechanbara homie. I didn't know you were tight like that.
