SS was alright with having a variety of powers but their similarities and hassle of switching made it unbearable for me. meh, crappy dlc for a crappy game. *yawn* wake me when there is something worth playing on the ps4.

poor mission design... bad story... I dunno, begs the question how did the original game get an 8 even being the same...

It's funny I said the same things and got bashed. I even played it. Who would have thought? Seems a lot of the same sentiment that I had, is all through this thread. /scratches head

I'll still play it eventually. The core game is too good to pass on it.

I don't bother with reviews, i watch Gameplay Videos on youtube and if it floats my boat i will buy it, i liked the look of too human so i bought it and despite reviews i thoroughly enjoyed it and spent hours on the game same with colonial marines.

i usually find that if you like the look of a game from watching gameplay video's or trailers you will probably end up liking the game.

For me, Too human had the best Control mechanics ever mainly because i love twin-stick shooters.

if you think you will like it then go for it man, nothing Ventured nothing gained as they say.

Infamous SS was way too short and boring gameplay, and since I beat it 100% in something like 6 hours, I haven't touched it again. Great graphics but terrible game design.

That's what Infamous:SS deserved IMO

@delta3074: good man I'm just about the same after all the hubbub from last week it's all what am wants to play though it was going down that path for a while

6 hours? I agree that I:SS was average at best (felt like the protagonist had no weight, the missions were pretty run of the mill, the story was disjointed and felt rushed, and the framerate tanked.

But 6 hours to complete? I consider myself through that game fast, but I am not sure I even got through the first Island in the first 6 hours.

Not really a fan of controlling female characters. But I liked infamous SS so I may check it out.

As much as I enjoyed SS, this never really grabbed my attention.

Looks bareboned and $5 worth.

I said the same thing and got bashed aswell... hell I platinumed the game.... the difficulty sliders were near pointless. the missions were repetitive... the story and choices were incredibly underwhelming... can count the ammount of enemy variety on one hand... ect ect...

and incredibly shallow game all round. 8 was very generous, next gen graphic hype nonsense... but that sums up these consoles outside of the wii-u so far....

I know you don't have to play Second Son to play this one, but I haven't even finished Second Son. Just didn't captivate me like the first two did. Doubt I'll play this one unless it's part of PS+ or heavily discounted.

I remember one of the other Infamous games had DLC that didn't require the first game to play; are they still doing that with this game?

Lol this will really burn your ass then. I get a living stipend of 3000 dollars, tax free per month from my GI bill that I earned by serving my country as welll. Federal financial aid like every one else after that. Yeah guy, I can buy what ever the **** I want with it because the GI bill pays the tuition. Tell me soldiers didn't earn it.

6/10 sucks balls. SS scored better, but the DLC seemed to suck.

Been playing it, thoughts:

More of Second Son, albeit the neon powers are tweaked a bit and makes the gameplay/exploration different without sacrificing fluidity (I think it feels more fluid than SS, but maybe that's more because there aren't DUP checkpoints everywhere - in FL, you can just run around unabated, more or less). Overall I'm pretty satisfied, but it's not terribly inspiring. It's above average, so 6 or 7, depending on how strictly you scrutinize your review numbers.

It's supposed to be a showcase of what PS4 can do i think. But i don't think the game itself(Infamous SS) is bad though,it's just average
