I haven't played prototype so I said infamous. It's got a solid story and power progression system missions are varied enough to warrant multiple playthroughs (im on my thrid). Definitley long if you give it time (but what game isn't nowadays) But i hear prototype is good not as polished but extrtemely visceral, has got a somewhat engaging story and looks good.( basing it off what i've seen) But either way you cant go wrong.
Right i guess ill make one on the ps3 forum.posting this in system wars wont work because... 360 people who haven't played inFAMOUS will vote Pro most of the time and ... you can't get good feedback off of that

I found more value in inFamous.
Even with the glitches, I still think it's superior to Prototype.
Even the story, which isn't exactly good, is better.
Pariah-
The story, if seen the trailers, I cant deside mostly bcuz of the story. its the most valueble part of any game.

Then you should get Planescape Torment apparently.bcuz i onyl have a certian amount of money & ima pro-order AC2 & Heavy-rain for sure, nowi cant decide weather to buy InFamous or prototype.
Id have to say prototype because it kinda reminds me of the old spiderman game on PS1 that I loved a lot. (the one where it was fully open world and you were exploring NYC.)

Prototype, because it has far more, repeteable content.VandalvideoThe karma system and teh ability to make my dicisions is what i like a bit better.
The karma system and teh ability to make my dicisions is what i like a bit better. Eh, alot of the decisions don't make a huge impact on the story. Not matter what you choose, most of the time the result doesn't change much.[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]Prototype, because it has far more, repeteable content.wonderboy63
If you want a slightly more serious and slower paced game, go with inFamous.
If you want to feel like the most powerful thing to ever exist and look damn cool while doing it (it still is a challenging game) hit up Prototype.

Both are neat, Fun games.
Did you ever Play HULK Ultimate Destruction, or the most recent HULK Games? That's how Prototype plays, fun rampaging, and even Hulks famous Elbow drops into tanks...it's in PROTOTYPE. Hulks Superjumping? Prototype.
Prototype is like the Rated "R" or "M" version of HULK. You are one bad MOFO.
InFAMOUS on the other hand is SUPER Polished, very clean fun, with an emphasis on being Evil or Good. It's Lightening only premise actually stands out as very fun (Which I didn't expect.)
InFAMOUS is the higher rated game, but you win with either choice. I would give the edge to InFAMOUS, as did the CRITICS, and Gamespot, and rightfully so.
Actualy no i have not played nay of the hulks game, its just that prototype seems to bloddy and gore or glore (idk) ut i really like teh fact of tacking over tanks and helis its very close for me.
inFAMOUS because you could easily get 60 hours of gameplay through doing the evil and good campaign.
I'm playing prototype on my PC at high settings and it still don't look that good at all, but its fun to kill, kill, kill then move on the the next mission so is the power ups. InFamous is alright but it got boring for me after a while. I'm not sure if you wanna waste $60 on both. why not rent?neoand12I was going to buy prototype for pc, but it seems like a renter so I will rent it on ps3
I don't get why people are saying inFamous is polished. The animation for everyone except Cole and the bosses` is terrible and the game is glitchy with lots of popin and framerate dips. Is that what passes as polished? I agree that the electricity powers are very focused giving a better sense of cohesion, but I think calling it polished is pushing it a bit.InFAMOUS on the other hand is SUPER Polished, very clean fun, with an emphasis on being Evil or Good. Ratchet and Clank is polished, Uncharted is polished, Killzone is polished. infamous is not as good technically as any of those games. Not even in the same ballpark. It is however, very good in it's own right..

It's polished in the gameplay dept. The little things, like skating on rails are incredibly easy and fun to do, not a choir. I don't know about others, but in comparison to Prototype, InFamous is more polished as well. Even in comparing their animations, and the story seems more thought out.
Prototype is good as is, but not as polished as Infamous in direct comparison.
[QUOTE="funked_up"]We're in cowspot right now so the answer is obvious.zeonneor maybe 9.0>8.5? i dunno...just throwing it out there...... sometimes the ratings dont truely give out the enjoyment of a game.
