Indeed it is. As I think that they fear that a lot of gamers feel the games are too similar (although they are not)and after buying Prototype will decide to skip out on Infamous. I actually am expecting to have more fun with Prototype myself, but have been anticipating Infamous nearly just as much and planned on getting both anyway. So, this is great news for me.
Great news, this is the second time this has happened this gen but i cant remember the other game it was. Anyways awesome stuff, i am very happy about this.
im glad the demo comes out in may but the game comes out a week after? so the game is basically done? i hope theyre not rushing it

I wouldn't think they would be rushing it.. they probably just want to get it out before Prototype.oh wow i guess they werent comfortable enough and they didnt want to go against prototype
I think the reason for the change in release date is simple:Sony didn't want it to be overshadowed by prototype.
If they were both released in June then I suspect most gamers would've went for Prototype.

Yes most people would because Prototype is a multiplat thus it will obviously sell more.
I feel that infamous will be an all round better game though
ofcourse if you add the multiplat for both console together it will sell more but i also think just the ps3 version of prototype will still sell more than infamous for some reason while the 360 version of prototype will out sell both of them
Since IT WAS coming out about the same time as Prototype, people were looking at Prototype more so now people will be looking at Infamous before buying Prototype since it comes out a month before Prototype, a good move but i'll play the demo first :)
You're better off playing the demo five days before release then if to your tastes buy then pore order and hopefully shouldn't take any more than five days to deliver. :) Then you won't have wasted your money.
