Infamous vs. Alan Wake

So, which console has it better when it comes to open-world games?

Do you think Alan Wake is better than Infamous?

Alan Wake's polished looks only add to the intense storyline and gameplay.

Alan Wake is a really polished open-world game with great lighting and foliage.

Even though it's an Sub-HD title, it still puts PS3's Infamous to shame with its awesome storyline, gameplay, open-world environments, lighting, effects and last but not least - foliage.

The games aren't really comparable. AW wasnt truly an open world sandbox game and Infamous is a super hero game. I enjoyed the AW story and gameplay more though.

Yea, Infamous was trying to be a graphically realistic game.

It's more like Crackdown 1/2 vs inFamous.

Also, Alan Wake isn't an open-world game. It's actually very linear.

Well, the world is quite huge and all rendered at the same time, but blocked off for story purposes.

All the mountains, trees and foliage are much more exciting than Infamous's boring city streets.

anyway .... Infamous looks more fun to play, it's also longer, and does have great replay value .... and it's a true open world game .... AW is a thriller game, i really dun know what are you talking about ????

I'm being damn serious about this and no, I am NOT the Seekar.

Nor is my accout new, it was created months ago, but only used rarely.

infamous never tried to look amazing and was never hyped to. You're just mad because your alan wake vs. uncharted 2 topic didn't go your way. Why isn't this troll banned yet?

Dude, Alan Wake came out a month and a half ago..inFAMOUS came out a year and a half ago...specs improve over the course of time.

Story: inFamous=/>Alan Wake : Alan Wake has a very interesting and tense story, but inFamous has a few plot twists that are very good and rarley seen, Alan Wake didn't give me the same "WTF?!" factor as inFamous.

Gameplay: inFamous>Alan Wake : inFamous lasts longer, way less repetetive and open world.

Graphics: Alan Wake>inFamous : I really liked the inFamous power effects, but Alan Wake wins hands down.

Sound: Alan Wake=inFamous : Both had some really cheesy dialogue, but both had great voice actors. (Kessler ftw :P !)

I HIGHLY advise you to edit your post. Either learn how to use spoiler tags or don't post spoilers. I seriously hate people who spoil games when it's not needed. I've already beaten the game and have the Platinum, but seriously dude, at least be courteous to the people that haven't played it but might want to still.
