Infinity Ward: Modern Warfare 3 post-launch support to be major focus

"It comes as the studio were lambasted for not fixing multiplayer exploits and hacks quick enough with Modern Warfare 2 after its November 2009 release."

Infinity Ward community boss Robert Bowling has said that post-launch support for Modern Warfare 3 will be a main aim for the studio after it launches in November.

Bowling said in a tweet, when asked for "constant patches" and exceptional" support following launch, it would be "a major focus of mine and the entire team since the feedback from Modern Warfare 2."

Didnt i just saw another thread you made discussing something about MW3 related ? Dont you think it would be better just to reply in that thread and not make another one with a tiny bit of news. Wow a developer is going to support their own game after release ! Thats new! COD MW3 map pack 1 though 5 $15 bucks each =$75 bucks just for maps.

They will charge a monthly fee to COD ELITE suscribers, so people will basically pay in advance for patches.

I think all the talent from infinity ward left to build their own studio including the main people that started COD.

No it wasn't. The lag was terrible and I had to reverify the game through Steam every time I tried to load it or it would freeze at the main menu. You can read my review on the game if you want. It details my gripes---and my likes---with it very well.

Yeah, we will support the game with maps and patches that will cost you 20$...by 2 months, maybe 3, then we will forget it and star working on CoD Osama Mission for 2012.
