I never once thought Wild Hunt was anything special.... Just another big map game, and now you're telling me the game I never thought was impressive to begin with is already a lie ?

pc version will be fine. console versions will be heavily downgraded probably.

well, I didn't even like the last game, thought it was way overrated, boring story, shitty combat mechanics, so I wouldn't be surprised if the latest game is overblown, if the Witcher 2 was released on all platforms at once we wouldn't have had to rely on hermits praising it to high heaven as their graphics king, if it releases on all systems at once I think people will call bullshit where it's deserved, and I'm sure PC gamers will blame consoles in the end

Atleast it will be better than causal skyrim or dragon age

What is the "bullshit" at point? It is confusing. There's no discreet "this is why they are bullshit." Playing into trends? Gamers rave about Witcher because there's still an ounce of gameplay there. If the topic is suggesting that the game has become a "console game" well the truth is both formats--consoles and pc--have taken aspects from one another since the beginning.

What do I make of it? I think that the Witcher 2 became so popular as a brand of sorts that perhaps Witcher 3 was structurally changed to work on all the popular formats available.

Don't be shocked.... The same fools were claming Mass Effect 2 was an RPG and a good one.. when it was a console centric shooter.... The Witcher 1 was a PC Centric RPG..... and an exclusive at that. I have 3 copies of it. A original red box US version, the Gog US version, and an Imported UK version black box with 3 discs a guide, map and art book. The witcher 2 was not a pc centric rpg at all. It took direction from console games. While still a good game, I was expecting more of the stuff I loved about the witcher 1.

Then we have them lying to people and saying they won't take sides yet they SOLD OUT to the devil Microsoft! Giving them more shit in the box and going on their stage. I bet the game will get the AC:unity "PARITY" as well.

I will agree with you there...add on Baldur's gate, Vampire the Masquarade: bloodlines, BG2, Fallout 1 and 2, and hell 20 years we can throw Ultima 7 on there as well.

But your thought about rather playing wow...... the most overrated crap trendy mmo ever... no thank you. I played just about every mmo from that time period except wow. Could never get into the limited classes, the limited character creator, the ugly as hell graphics...

That being said. I will still buy the witcher 3 as I love the character, the story and lore. It may not be an old school rpg and play like a console game...... So I will buy this version on the PS4, even though my witcher 1 and 2 is on PC. I've made it a habit to not play controller based console style games on the PC...

sold out to microsoft? so then witcher 3 is an xbox one exclusive or timed exclusive with extra content?

Because last i checked the steam/GOG versions have the better deal. To say they "sold out" because they were promoting a console version on microsoft's conference is abit childish

As long as it isn't a dumbed down pc game I'm cool. Console gamers seem to be the only ones with any thought about precision based gameplay and intricate game design.

Yeah, because game developers love to release official screenshots of their games at the lowest quality possible to make them look bad.

Well the thing is it's an official screenshot representing the game. Why would they show a screenshot of the game at low graphic settings? This might very well be an Xbone screenshot.
