Insomniac Games could be announcing their new game soon!

According to their Twitter, Insomniac Games COULD be announcing their new game soon!

Sounds like the other IG (Irrational Games) is revealing their next game in August 11th... Makes us want to get in on the fun! #fb

I don't think it'll be another Ratchet & Clank game, but if it is one, that'd be great too.

I'm guessing Resistance 3 at GamesCom. That, StarHawk and larger HDD SKUs are my predictions for new announcements from Sony at GC.

i think sony owns that ip im not sure. im guessing a new ip since they are going multiplatform

Sounds like a confirmation that a game is in development. But after the billboard, I learnt I can't trust IG.

It obviously is Resistance 3. Is the only game they've been working for a long time now and they JUST announced they were going multiplat.

Can't wait to see the first look at Resistance 3.

That or Resistance 3 would be great.

I want two things from them.

1. A new R&C game.

2. An R&C collection with all the old games remastered in 1080p.

Anything else and i'll be disappointed.

Resistance 3 with a campaign that's actually really good, multiplayer saved these games.

Isn't this new game from Irrational games a bigger news? They are the one who made Bioshock/System Shock.

I hope it's their new multiplat game and I hope it's a platformer. One of the things I miss about not owning a Sony system is no Ratchet and Clank so something similar would be great. Resistance is just meh.

Resistance 2 left a really bad taste in my mouth and a big hole in my wallet... So Im really not hyped for anything they have to offer. I liked the original resistance I thought it was a solid launch title but everything else they did this gen was meh or worse imo.

Insomniac is now a multiplatfrom dev right? If so I'm hoping for a new IPbobcheeseball

I'm assuming you're talking about SMG and SMG2, in addition, three other excellent games(LBP, R&C ToD, R&C ACiT) were platformers, I do wish this gen had more platformers though, but there still have been plenty of great ones.

If it's R3, hopefully it gravitates more toward being like R1 and completely wipes the slate with what they gave us in R2 (save for the depth in multiplayer).

I have a feeling it will be Resistance 3. Think about it, the faster they get that thing done with, the faster they will be done with Sony.:P

Honestly, if they can some how bring back that feeling I got from playing the classic Spyro trilogy again with this game, I cannot wait! Naughty Dog managed to bring it for "me" with Uncharted Drakes Fortune despite Jak being very good but I haven't gotten the same feeling from Insomniac's games ever since the Spyro trilogy. I mean R&C was awesome but.. C'mon man...This just makes me wish if only Sony could give us poor old Spyro fans an HD remake of the trilogy...:(.. What?! A man can dream! :cry:
