Insomniac is about to abandon the land of PS3 exclusivity

They are rumoured to be working on a multiplat title for the 360 and PS3. It's most likely going to be a brand new ip: LINK

According to a rumor. That IGN overheard. And then, this rumor isn't even original. I'll believe it when I see it.

Meh Insomniac are overrated they make good games but nothing special.

i never heard the rumor personally.....it was a complete surprise when i watched it at E3 and i was stunned...lmao

which is bull**** anyways given how popular ratchet and clank is on the ps2/ps3/psp

anyways i said it before resistance 2 came out that i kinda wished resistance was a multiplatform franchise because it just doesn't fit sony's mold for "platform seller" and ever since call of duty 4 the fanbase for the resistance series on the ps3 has dwindled to nothing

never going to happen anyways, but it would make sense now that Uncharted 2/Killzone 2 have taken over the hearts and minds of exclusive game-playing gamers

If they were to go multiplat, then good for them. It simply means more people will get to play their games, and let's face it, they ARE talented. I am sure 360 only owners would more than welcome a game from Insomniac.

I hope this is not true, i don't want to see their new IPs dumbed down to put it on the 360 when they could of made the game like they wanted on the ps3.jack00

Believe it when I see it. Even if they did go to Multipalt, Ratchet and Resisitence would still be only on PS3. And im sure they would still support PS3 with Exclusives.

Resistance 2 was passable at best, and the Future trilogy simply pales in comparison to anything they've done in their PS2 days.

Sorry, but Insomniac's glory days have been long gone. Can't say I'm too excited or interested in any of their future titles being released on the Xbox 360.

It's all opinionated, the comparison you are attempting to present to me is based off the mentality that Killzone 2 is a mediocre game.

I enjoyed the Killzone 2 multiplayer far more than the Resistance 2 MP side, though on the campaign side both were equally average.

well R3 and RAC are still exclusive to the ps3, so whatever game they make IF they go multi-plat won't be a huge blow to the ps3, seeing as there was never a new insomeniac game coming to ps3.
