[QUOTE="xLittlekillx"][QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"] Well yeah, I want a few PS Vita games as well, but not sure if I want enough to justify $300./ShoTTyMcNaDeS
It's expensive, but it's even harder to justify 500 bucks for an ipad.
Why is it hard to justify $500 for an Ipad? It can do almsot everything a laptop can do as far as entertainment purposes go. Between all of the game apps, books, internet browsing, movie watching and whatnot, plus the sheer portability for basically the same cost as a bare bones laptop, I see the Ipad as a major win. Now, I will agree if you are simply looking for a portable gaming machine, the Ipad probably isnt for you. The question is what are you going to play on the Vita that you most likely cant get on the PS3 or 360? Will you really sit on your couch and play the Vita over your console? meanwhile, I can almost guarantee that you would use your Ipad 3 faster than you would grab a bulkier laptop!!I don't know, it's hard to explain. I've had an iPad 2 now for a year, and I find that I barely ever use it now. I think the problem is that it doesn't really have a place in my life.
As far as mobile media consumption goes, my Galaxy s2 is better. As far as games go, my 3ds and Vita are much, much better. As far as a portable writing device, my ultrabook is better. As far as drawing goes, a pen and paper are better. Do you see what I mean. Maybe if you're the kind of person who wants to do multiple of those things at a time and you're willing to settle for doing them at a reduced level, then the ipad is perfect for you?
