The move is just as expensive, if not more. the pricing would be as much as a higher quality webcam, which natal is. it probably also covers the cost of the free game(s?) that it will 100% come with.

dont forget natal works with X number of people, Move controller only works with 1.

The big thing is image quality when you use it as a webcam, I think everyone should wait till we know that before going off on the price

Here's a better question: Couldn't you have used one of the other three threads about the exact same thing to post this?

Both will be a waste of money. Neither are worth the price to play games that are 'ok' with it.

It's almost as expensive as the arcade, and half the price of the elite. I honestly think its set up for failure.

what is essentially a new controller is 3/4 the cost of the console itself... I'd say that's pretty bad

Same price as a new n64, thus confirming n64>natal... but really 150 dollars? that is almost as much as the console...

2 Wii controllers cost more than that if you buy 1st party.

2 controllers cost as much or more

2 Move controllers will probably cost around the same

Natal isnt for 1 person only. Microsoft isnt that dumb

$149... ?? no thx... I'll pass. $99... I'd probably jump in for that. If I had room in my game room for it, which I'm pretty sure I don't now.

$150 for a beefed up eyetoy will be a hard pill for the public to swallow. It may be fun for a little while and have an interesting game or two but it's probably not going to catch on and make a huge impact in the gaming market. I think natal is better suited in a PC type environment. Being able to do what you normally do without a mouse or touching the screen would be more practical.

wuut? a 360 controller is less than $25, you would need 8 to match the price a wii controller + nunchuck is less than $35, you'd have to buy 4 to match it

exactly and let's not forget one of the reasons for wiiis popularity was the low price being the cheaper console of all systems the natal being so expensive is it's downfall.

Ehhh, you're exaggerating on the first two examples as neither two wiimotes nor two controllers cost $150. Unless you add in nunchucks and motion plus for both. And as for the topic at hand, yes it is that bad. This is not because of cost comparison but because of the fact that it's going to be a very high priced accessory. That's if this rumor is true.

the same was said about the wii . even those wii rip off things at the bargin stores sell like crazy. natal will be more of a hit. because the people dont have to use buttons. as simple as most wii games are pushing the buttons on it are a pain to most that i know that never played games before they bought a wii.

does the ps3 2006 ring a bell? sure lots of people wanted it but weren't willing to dish out until the price was more reasonable.

for microsofts sake I hope a month or two after they see their mistake they quickly lower the price.

well hope fully it gets bundled with a full game and not a mini game. but ya I think sony was fine of the price because they thought of the price of bluray and the price of a game console and put both together

The move costs 99$ for a controller, webcam, and game. Are we going to use the over time argument again like xbox 360 v. Playstation 3 price. Because I am pretty sure 100 $ < 150 $.

Natal has not shown any ability to play 4 players. Let alone 2 at this moment. Enjoy paying for a casual device that is both the most expensive as well as the worst.

The only thing I can think natal will benefit from is that once you buy it, thats it, you dont need to buy any other add ons. Howeverm with Move, you have to buy more Move controllers/subcontrollers if you want multiplayer games at home. But, then again, with the wii you had to do the same thintg, and that didnt seem to hurt them.

move has 2 controllers you are only buying 1 not both

Why would you buy both when you only need one. This is like the logic of cows saying playstation 3 is cheaper than xbox 360. Well if you include 4 years of XBL which cost 40$ than xbox 360 costs 400$ and playstation 3 cost 300$. Natal is a single player experience (which I will show you the wonderful 2 player gameplay) and move can have multiple people (surprisingly at the same price as natal). Both suck, natal just sucks at a larger degree. I am not going to buy either but natal apologists are damage controlling.

Lair has better precision than this.

The move costs 99$ for a controller, webcam, and game. Are we going to use the over time argument again like xbox 360 v. Playstation 3 price. Because I am pretty sure 100 $ < 150 $.

50 bucks less than a 360 arcade or a new black Wii with Wii sports 1 and 2 and Motion Plus? um this really failed before it even started didn't it.

2 Wii controllers cost more than that if you buy 1st party.

2 controllers cost as much or more

2 Move controllers will probably cost around the same

Natal isnt for 1 person only. Microsoft isnt that dumb

gamer-adam1
Comparing it with the Wii is pointless. Natal is NOT a controller. It's a camera, if you're going to think of it as a controller then that's $150 PLUS all the other X360 controllers you already own. Furthermore, no one is forcing anyone to buy the extra controller. But MS is forcing us to fork $150 for what is essentially an add on.
