Is 2010 the year of xbox 360 ?

I mean my tow best games so far are Alan Wake and Mass Effect 2

Then i get the best RDR version

And also my top wanted titles in 2010-early 2011are

1. Fable 3
2. Mass Effect 3
3. Gears 3
4. Two Worlds 2
5. KUF2

All only on 360, and of course the XBLA Limbo and any Rareware title that may come

So, considering i dont plan to buy any of PS3 or Wii games yet, until i see more of them, 360 seems like the best this year by a landslide

I was about to say this but I'll just quote you for emphasis. We don't even know what is going to be shown at E3 so let's wait till then imo.

People keep saying "Year of the PS3" because to them, thatll be the year that it handily outclasses 360 in terms of both Software and Hardware, and might even be the year it passes 360 in sales. 2009 was the closest to this happening, but it didnt quit happen since 360 sold closesly to what PS3 did and PS3 didnt totally beat out 360. so if we use this logic, 360 dosent need a year of.

pretty obvious he's a troll, it's a thread response. and he changed one word from 'PS3' to 'Xbox 360'

leaving out Halo Reach only makes it more obvious. besides his use of Two Worlds 2 and Gears of War. of course.

Most of the great games this year are multiplat. Exclusive wise though I'd say the Wii is in the lead.

I could go on forever but the point is simple 2010 is the year of pure win all around the only ones that are missing out are the ones that cannot have all 3 systems becuase missing out on anyone of these gems is a crime.

i think 2010 is the year of those gamers who own all systems (or more than 1).... so many great games :)

On topic I dont think 2010 is the year of the 360, its surely getting lots of games but usually for a system to 'win' a year it has to do that based on quality/quantity of exclusives (not multiplats) and personally I think all other systems will offer more in terms of exlusives..

There's no surefire way of telling who is a fakeboy and who is not. All we know is that some folks are fakeboys and some are really fanboys. I tend to measure who is a fakeboy by how ridiculous the arguments are. If it's just standard cheerleading and standard cognitive dissonance and confirmation bias, they are probably fanboys. When the arguments are just flat-out absurd, it is usually the work of a fakeboy.

I disagree. Also, a lot of those games you listed were multiplatform, plus you left off Halo Reach in favour of multiplatforms, which undermines your point further.
